Campbell pulls hamstring, Portis sits out

A day after receiver Antwaan Randle El had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, quarterback Jason Campbell suffered a mild pulled left hamstring this morning. And running back Clinton Portis didn't practice with a strained hip flexor. That's three of Washington's starting skill position players out of action. Good thing they're not due on the field again until June 2.

The oft injured, Portis, is again.

This time he is saying it's only a minor hip injury. An injury he sustained while racing LaRon (and finishing a distant second to him to boot, in a two person race).

The long-in-the-tooth, always injured, overpaid, Choo-Choo, won't be donning any funny wigs and glasses this season; he won't have to. He's funny enough just the way he is!

Go, lil' Choo-Choo, Go (Please)!!

Harsh on the little dude, eh?

Give him a break for goodness sakes!

He was hand picked by St. Joe at his Second Coming, along with the other had-been, Mark-can't-hold-my-arm-up-anymore-Brunnel.

St. Joe, thinking this was still 1995, signed both to ludicrous contracts and Portis and Brunnel laughed all the way to the bank. They still are. Brunnel will now carefully hold the clipboard at a more sensible (not senile) rate. Portis is soon to join him (hopefully).

Perhaps St. Joe can give both Portis & Brunnel jobs as tire changers or some such deal on the Toyota Team of his?
