Change in PR [Ryan O'Halloran]

It's a bad day for those assigned to cover the Redskins on a daily basis -- the team has parted ways with Chris Helein, the media relations chief since the summer of 2006.

Owner Dan Snyder has been through a bunch of different folks in the PR office. A list: Mike McCall (fired upon Snyder taking control of the team), John Konoza (lasted three days), two interns who ran the department for a training camp, John Maroon (lasted a year), Doug Green (lasted a year), Michelle Tessier (lasted a few years), Pat Wixted (lasted about 18 months in lead role) and Helein.

Being the PR chief for a team like the Redskins is an impossible task and Chris won't easily be replaced.
