Waking up in Russia to the Final Four

SOCHI, Russia — After arriving here last night to the hotel around 9:30 and working until about 2:30 a.m., I actually woke up a little early this morning, just before 6, so I could catch the end of the Kansas/North Carolina game. Turns out it wasn't much of a game, but I shot some video of the Black Sea coast at dawn and of the filing center you can see below.

President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin are set to meet together this morning and then hold a press conference at noon (4 a.m. Eastern). We're scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:30 a.m. for the 30-minute drive (don't ask) to the Mr. Putin's summer home.

Below the video are more pictures from Mr. Bush's speech in Zagreb, Croatia
yesterday.

UPDATE — I'm finishing this post from press center inside President Putin's compound on the Black Sea.

Here is a full view of the magnificent church in St. Mark's Square, in Zagreb, Croatia, where President Bush gave his speech yesterday.

After I filed my story from Zagreb, I had about an hour to walk around the city's downtown. It's a beautiful city in the foothills of a mountain range, with open squares and gorgeous parks in the old section of the city.

As I was walking along, I saw this advertisement, which I thought was very interesting.
