Live Chat with Mark Zuckerman

Hi everyone, and welcome to our weekly live chat live from RFK, where the Nats and Reds are preparing for Game 2 of their series. Plenty to discuss, with the trade deadline, two-year extensions for Dmitri Young and Ronnie Belliard, Barry Bonds' veeeerrrry sllloooow crawl toward 756 (which is wreaking havoc with my life, by the way). Let's get started, but first, let me just point one thing out: Did you know the Nats are 37-35 since May 11? Seriously, that's better than a .500 pace for nearly three months. Who knew?

OK, onto your questions. As always, click on the above link to submit one, or e-mail me directly at natsmailbag@washingtontimes.com, being sure to include your name and hometown...

Live Chat with Mark Zuckerman -- 8/8/07

Good afternoon to everyone (or, good morning for those of us on the West Coast). Wow, what a scene last night here in San Francisco. Say whatever you want about Barry Bonds -- and believe me, I could say plenty -- but that was quite an event, and I think everyone in attendance (including the Nats) would agree. So with that, it's time for your questions on the FOURTH-PLACE Nats, Mr. Bonds and all things baseball. As always, click on the above link to submit a question, or email me directly at natsmailbag@washingtontimes.com. Here we go...

Live Chat with Mark Zuckerman -- 8/15/07

Good afternoon everyone from RFK Stadium, where the Nats will try to shake off last night's disappointing 3-2 loss to the Phillies (negating Shawn Hill's fabulous six-inning performance in his return from the DL). Tim Redding vs. Kyle Kendrick tonight. Let's get to your questions. As always, to submit one, just click on the above link or email me directly at natsmailbag@washingtontimes.com.

Live Chat with Mark Zuckerman -- 8/22/07

In the immortal words of one Dr. Nick Riviera ... "Hi, everybody!" Welcome to our weekly live chat. Sadly, I'm not in Houston at the moment covering the Nats' four-game series with the Astros. Can't make all the trips, not if I want to maintain some semblance of a life back here in Washington. But I've still been following events of the past few days closely and will be rejoining the club Friday in Colorado for the rest of the road trip. In the meantime, I'll be happy to field your questions from the comfort of my home. If you've got one, click on the above link or e-mail me directly at natsmailbag@washingtontimes.com. As always, please include your name and hometown (even if they're fakes!). Let's get started...

Live Chat with Mark Zuckerman -- 8/29/07

Good morning (yes, morning) from sunny Southern California! Another beautiful day here in La-La Land. We're chatting live from Dodger Stadium, where the Nats and Dodgers will conclude their series in one hour. Good pitching matchup today with Shawn Hill facing Brad Penny. Nats need to win to avoid heading home on a six-game losing streak. My esteemed competitor from the other paper happens to be sitting three feet to my left live-chatting at the same time (doesn't he know I've had the 2 p.m. EST window locked up all season?). So if any of you can manage to tear yourself away from his chat for a minute to two and supply me with some questions, I'll do my best to offer different-sounding answers. I kid, I kid. We're all friends here.

OK, let's get started. Click on the above link to send your questions in, or e-mail me directly at natsmailbag@washingtontimes.com...
