Former O'Malley spokesman Steve Kearney and Democrat colleague Damian O'Doherty's shop, KO Public Affairs LLC, now has a Web site called KO Punch. Get it?
OK, but who's view are the expressing? They weighted in on the O'Malley-Grasmick feud and today on the Eastern Shore congressional race.
Yet here's the disclaimer: "Views expressed on KO punch are not necessarily the views of KO Public Affairs. Likewise, those appearing on KO Punch are not making any endorsements of KO Public Affairs LLC. "

Tom,
No personally delivered press release from Nelson Reichart this time?
A Baltimore daily reported today the court upheld the MD Dept of General Services' firing of self-identfied white Republican Nelson Reichart.
The court found Nelson Reichart's contention, that he was fired in retaliation for his statement in a newspaper, invalid because his replacement had been interviewed and offered Nelson Reichart's job before he made the statement in question.

justdafacts,
you are correct: no personally delivered press release from Mr. Reichart this time. I would have appreciated one, however.
of course that's pretty typical -- nobody ever flaunts their losses.
Gov. Martin O'Malley never issued a press release after he failed to pass his Geographic Cost of Education Index (GCEI) bill during the 2007 session an optional portion of the Thornton education spending plan he criticized former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. for funding.
O'Malley did, however, trumpet GCEI during his budget rollout last month when he announced that not only was he funding the first phase-in (about $35 million, as I recall) but that he was actually doubling it.
