Gameday (finally)

The Caps are in the middle of their first playoff morning skate (that even seems weird to write) with the countdown to Game 1 under eight hours and well, counting. No Ovechkin, Backstrom or Fedorov for the skate, but Chris Clark is out there (in a blue jersey). All of the defensemen are out there as well. One final update on the injured guys coming in a few minutes. There is no secret about the forward lines:

Ovechkin-Backstrom-Kozlov
Semin-Fedorov-Cooke
Fleischmann-Laich-Gordon
Brashear-Steckel-Bradley

As for the Flyers, it looks like Danny Briere and Jason Smith will be ready to go as both practiced yesterday. Philadelphia has not had its entire forward group together all year (and Simon Gagne isn't going to play in this series) and this is the closest the Flyers have been to full strength up front. They are certainly one of the deepest groups in the league.
