Coming Friday: Live chat with Ted Leonsis

This Friday at 2 p.m., Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis will be live chatting at washingtontimes.com, just hours before the Caps take the ice for Game 1 of their Stanley Cup first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Make sure to stay tuned here for updates.

Already got a question, and afraid you'll miss the chat? Send it to sports@washingtontimes.com and we'll make sure it lands safely near his laptop.

My question is: "Are you going to sign Heut, Federov and Cooke. The one thing that was lacking for the caps was experience and with Federov and Cooke you have that. And the chemistry right can and should last into next season. I see a Stanley Cup winner with this team. Maybe not this year (Which I'm hoping for) but in the coming years...

My question is: Are you going to resign Huet and Federov? Us Caps fans have fallen in love with both!!

THANKS!!

Ted, it seems that every free agent or trade deadline player we've acquired the last few years has been hesitant or even unhappy about coming to Washington (rumor had it that it was Nylander's wife who had to talk him into it), yet once they're here they have nothing but glowing things to say about the team and the organization (Cooke talking excitedly about playing 'Caps Hockey' the most recent example). Is the perception of the organization changing? Do you ever see getting to the point where Washington is a *desired* location for players? Keep up the good work and Go Caps.

Ted,

Just wondering if Steve Eminger will get another look. I think at last glance the team is something like 14-5-1 with him in the lineup and he's still a young guy. I think he's been fantastic when he's played in 2 or more games in a row and gets his feet wet?

Thanks and GO CAPS!!!
