So I guess these guys won a few games lately; the media presence at practice today was larger than any day that didn't involve a $124 million contract or a coach firing.

It will be Brent Johnson in net tomorrow against Carolina with first place on the line. Bruce Boudreau said both goaltenders are playing well and Johnson has earned more playing time. He said he doesn't envision a 50-50 split, but over a five-game span he can see 60-40. Still, this is a game I thought while driving back from Philly that Olie Kolzig would start. I asked him after the media scrum went away if he was upset about not playing and he said he wasn't going to stir up anything in the media.
