Injury bug reaches new heights (or depths)

Not only are the Caps dealing with myriad injuries, it has spread to the media. I am officially listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury, but a source close to the situation said there was "a cooking incident" and "it involves 24 stitches and a hand laceration." Naturally, as we near the playoffs, the organization had no comment on the situation. I am in the lineup tonight but only operating at about 50 percent.

24????? Sounds like you did a good job :)
Glad you're all right!

Cory,
Thanks for the great job and the additional blogs that you post. Just a little comment on handling knives. Usually a person keeps their hands away from the cutting motion of the knife:) If the rumors are true, you are lucky to still have your fingers.

Very nice.
But I'd watch out for more specific info to be shared by that Tarik guy!

hahaha! This was one of your best blog posts to date.

Good stuff!!

Cory, get one of these...honest.

Haha nice jab at the Caps and their ridiculous non-disclosure of injuries! Hope you're all healed up because we need you and one other local paper writer on their A-game for the next few games! We Caps fans will never make it through this road stretch without you all!!! You are critical to our mental health and Caps hockey addiction! LOL
