Jon Stewart, Congress and avatars

OK, this video is just too hilarious not to point out. On Monday, comedian Jon Stewart poked fun at a congressional hearing on "Online Virtual Worlds: Applications and Avatars in a User-Generated Medium."

It was held last Tuesday by the Energy and Commerce Committee's Telecommunications and the Internet Subcommittee, and it was even streamed live in the digital world of Second Life. Stewart got a kick out of the thought of stodgy old congressmen and women poking around in cyberspace.

The best part is when Stewart points out the online name of a witness called "Glitteractica Cookie."
