It is an outrage that Carter hasn't been held accountable for many of his actions, initiatives, and rhetoric. Free Speech has its limits, and former Presidents are expected to have the discipline and

I'm surprised Carter hasn't offered to meet with Osama bin Laden. They would have so very much in common. Both hate the United States, both actively plot for its downfall, and both constantly denounce it again and again. Yes, Carter and bin Laden do have so much in common.

If the actions of any of the past Presidents could be considered effective, then, they should consult with the current President with regard to this type of a meeting. However, that defense is false as every "FORMER" president is permanently attached and represents an official retired executive status of the United States of America and such is recognized by the security that our nation provides Mr. Carter on a permanent and perpetual basis. Therefore, if Mr. Carter wants to engage in his unsolicited foreign policy endeavors "in a personal and unofficial capacity" he should do so only after he publicly renounces his status as a "FORMER" president and relinquishes his claim to all the benefits and security afforded him by this nation as a "FORMER" president. Otherwise, lock him up for engaging in foreign policy on behalf of the United States without authority and for engaging in acts to lend aid to known terrorist enemies of the American people.
