The GOP Senate Republican campaign arm is seeking to tie comments made by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama about rural Pennsylvanians to Sen. John Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat, who has endorsed the candidate.
Obama characterized rural Pennsylvanians as "bitter" during a San Francisco fundraiser, saying they "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) slammed Kerry, who is up for re-election this year but does not appear to be facing substantive opposition, for not immediately speaking out against Obama's comments.
"When John Kerry endorsed Obama he said, 'History gives us moments. We get to decide what to do with them.' Well now is your moment John Kerry," said NRSC spokeswoman Rebecca Fisher. "Do you agree with Barack Obama's view of small-town Americans?"
When asked about the NRSC's attack, a Kerry spokesman took a shot at the committee.
"I finally figured it out: NRSC stands for 'nobody really shows competence,' " said Kerry spokesman David Wade. "Let's talk about some things the NRSC has endorsed: the Bush recession, $4 a gallon gas and John McCain's 100 years in Iraq. No wonder our Democratic majority in the Senate will grow in November."
Obama rival Hillary Clinton cited problems the Democratic Party has faced in relating to rural voters, though she didn't specifically mention Kerry, who faced criticism during the 2004 campaign for his windsurfing as a symptom of elitism.
"You don't have to think back too far to remember that good men running for president were viewed as being elitist and out of touch with the values and the lives of millions of Americans," Clinton said during a press conference yesterday.

Kerry and Obama the Elitist thing, that is the same kind of thinking that got Marie Antwenet's head sliced off. I live rural and cling to the Constitution and my rights, and the rule of law, Not how much loot you got. None of these fools care about America, they care about Power, and they will tell you anything you want to hear to achieve there goal. I landed in Houston with my family, as we were going thru security the Agent made my 4 year old girl take off her flip flops? He said it was for my protection, What? Then drive around and count how many camara's you see in a 5 mile radius, My German friends that helped tear down the wall in 1989 Said America reminds them of East Germany in the 1980ies, Protect me? Protect me from what?

Obama Black is Wright
Obama attracts thugs and bullies to his campaign and personal life and is able to do so with impunity.
If Obama where Caucasian, he would have been bulldozed by the media long ago.
Look at Obamas affiliations:
- Senator Meeks who openly hates whites and gays and is listed prominently on Obamas campaign website as a major Obama supporter and backer and is one of Obama;s super-delegate. Mr. Meeks has been integral in Obama success in politics.
- Mr. Ayers of the Weather Underground, a group that killed police and tried to bomb the US Capitol, served with Obama on the board of the leftist foundation called the Woods Fund.
- Robert Malley a close senior adviser to Obama who advocates negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group.
- Larry Sinclair alleges in 1999 Senator Obamas arranged to meet him in a limousine, sold Senator Obama cocaine and then gave Senator Obama oral sex. Larry then claims that he and Obama went to a hotel and preformed oral sex again. Mr. Sinclair is testifying in court under oath that these allegations are true.
- Mr. Auchi is an Iraqi billionaire and major financial sponsor and closely connected to Obamas rise to power.
While working with Saddam Hussein, Auchi made his fortune through the selling of arms in Iraq and the funneling off of money from the Oil for Food program.
- Mr. Rezko an Iraqi citizen and Obamas and Auchis long time friend of 17 years and a major mob figure. Rezko is NOT known for his civic sense of duty and does not do favors without asking something in return. Coincidently the Chicago Times reported yesterday that Rezko was negotiating to purchase rehab buildings in Obamas district.
- Mr. Wright a racist who hates America and whites (and Italians?). Mr. Wright has been Mr. Obamas spiritual mentor for over 20 years. Before the media exposed Mr. Wright, he was Obama's chief religious advisor on Obamas campaign staff. Mr. Wright and Mr. Meeks are ideologically closer to Karl Marx and Black Nationalism, than to Christianity.
- Rashid Khalidi a fundraiser for Obama and is one of Obamas close friends. Khalidis claim Israel as a "catastrophe", and supports Palestinian terrorist groups.
- Mr. McPeaks is Obamas military adviser and national campaign co-chairman who publicly states that American Jews are the "problem." and Christian Zionists were driving America's policy in Iraq to benefit Israel.
- Michelle Obama trumpets Obama as the second coming of the messiah, and also states that she has NEVER been proud to be an American in her adult life".
The list goes on
How can Obamas bad judgment to choose to affiliate with criminals and fanatics be justified?
Hey everybody - am I missing something here?
Are we so in love with the color black that we forget to see the man?

Obama will be portrayed by Republicans as a smug elitist and linked to various and sundry smarmy individuals while McCain will be portrayed by Democrats as a Bush redux with no solutions to our economic woes and as one who will continue the war in Iraq forever. It's politics as usual and, no matter who wins, the public will pay through the nose while getting reamed in the posterior.

Will GOP commit to GAS not hitting $6 a GALLON?
Will GOP commit to MILK not hitting $5 a GALLON?
Will GOP commit to STOP RELEASING BIN LADEN's TAPES?
Will GOP commit to STOP Showing FOX Terror LEVELS?
Will GOP commit to STOP abusing "CIVIL RIGHTS"?
Its all Evangelicals who made our life miserable.

All this flap about elitism has proved is people are afraid of someone that will state his or her real opinion. I know I couldn't be a politician because I can't forcefully argue either party's ideals I don't think the Republican or Democratic way about most issues. I am sorry that Mrs. Clinton and the randy Mr. McCain agree on so many issues.
Economically, most voters are closer to the bums on the street than to the candidates. The candidates are closer to the bums than they are to the company CEO's they work for.

Obama, don't worry about Hillary or BUSH McCain making a mountain out of a mole hill. Yes many people are mad, upset and clinging to a thread trying to overcome what has happened to them due to "CORRUPTION AND POLICIES OF THE BUSH ADM."
Also get after McCain for boycotting the debate about religion since he knew he would prove to be a liar and a fool. He says he is no longer Episcopalian and he sure is not a Baptistbecause he stated he was never baptized which would have been a must.
These people are trying to keep you from talking about the economy which is crumbling, GET AFTER THEM AND DON'T LET UP

Why should Republicans make any effort to link Kerry/Obama on this? Clinton has already done it for us. Just sit back and let her continue her 24/7 smear campaign. We Republicans can stay above the fray, grab some popcorn & a beer and just watch Hillary and Bill's huge egos destroy their party.
Gotta love it!
