Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, dismissed President Bush's proposal to combat climate change as "just rhetoric."
Bush outlined a goal for carbon-based pollution but rejected a proposal by Democrats and Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, to put in place industry caps on greenhouse gas emissions.
"It took President Bush seven years before discussing climate change in a State of the Union address," Reid said in a statement. "Although we appreciate that he is finally willing to speak about the problem, he offered no substantive solutions today, just more delay. The time for words without action has long since passed."

If anyone knows about words without actions, it's Harry Reid. What has Congress given us for their words in the last eight years, carbon emission caps? What does Harry think about the news articles in which people of third world countries are starving because of the single minded approach of shifting to biofuels? What other solutions do the global warmists have for decreasing the worlds population?
