Casey asks about Blackwater

Sen. Bob Casey, Pennsylvania Democrat, questioned Ambassador to Iraq Ryan C. Crocker about the State Department's recent decision to renew a contract with the private security firm Blackwater despite a September incident in which Blackwater guards reportedly shot and killed 17 civilians in Iraq.

Crocker replied that since September, there have been just three cases of "escalations of force," with Blackwater on duty, none of them serious. He said the investigation into the September deaths is still under way, and after careful review of the final report he wouldn't rule out canceling a future contract.

"I feel it's warranted, I would not hesitate to recommend a cancellation of the contract," Crocker said.

Why doesn't anybody go after the connection between Blackwater and Hillary Clinton. After all, one can say that she is also guilty of murders of those civillians by association through Mark Penn. Mark Penn represents Blackwater through his firm. That will be the taste of their own medicine after the Rev.Wright controversy. But then again, Obama is not in a habit of stooping low as to capitalise on anything that may come his way. He leaves that to the Clintons.
