Presidential candidate Barack Obama trounced Hillary Clinton in a straw poll of liberal activists, defeating her by a vote of 72 to 16 percent.
The results were released today at the Take Back America conference in Washington, where some 2,000 activists converged to discuss progressive policy issues and voter mobilization strategy March 17 through 19.
Mr. Obama won during the conference last year as well, but in 2007 he garnered just 29 percent of voters, compared to John Edwards's 26 percent and Hillary Clinton's 17 percent.
Of those who attended this year, 413 people participated in the straw poll conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and Politico.com.

This certianly is not an accurate poll, it simply can't support the facts.
My questions are: why bother to do this poll and why post it?????

It certainly does support the facts...the last polls ended March 17th and this was March 19th...Things can flip on a dime.
