Thought it appears that Hillary Clinton's campaign may regain momentum in tomorrow's primary contests, it doesn't bode well that she's adopted a song once associated with the … Kerry campaign.
Then again, it is a great song — and it just so happens we recommended its use last July in a Show section Top 5 recommending campaign music. Topping our list, we said of the tune:
"Land of Hope and Dreams" — This recent Bruce Springsteen gem has all the fixings: an emotionally rousing refrain, themes of optimism and inclusiveness and metaphors (railroads, "bells of freedom") that are quintessentially American. Good luck, Republicans, trying to persuade the Boss to loan it to you.

Bill Clinton couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow but he seemed to have a problem linking today with tomorrow (relatively speaking - compartmentatilization). Maybe a better song for Hillary from Bruce would be "Glory Days".
