Roger Clemens, who was accused in December's "Mitchell Report" of using steroids is at a hearing today in front of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
The hearing is at the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill. The hearing, which is open to the public, drew large crowds. A line of people wound around the corner outside of the building, waiting at the security checkpoint.

Rep. Henry Waxman, chairman of the Committee, said the hearing was about verifying the validity of the Mitchell Report, which listed 89 M.L.B. players as having used steroids. However, he that said Sen. Mitchell, the author of the report, is "credible."
Mr. Waxman said that the stories of Roger Clemens, Brian McNamee and Sen. Mitchell are too different to all be true.
"Someone isn't telling the truth," he said.
Mr. Waxman said he expects this to be the last hearing the committee sees on steroid use in Major League Baseball.
Rep. Waxman said Clemens is a "credible and convincing person," specifically noting his willingness to go under oath, but says some of his statements are contradictory or outright false.
