What happens in Dallas ...

The biggest development in the case of the murders of Amina and Sarah Said since their fugitive father was featured Saturday on "America's Most Wanted"? The continued refusal of most national media to report the crime, Phyllis Chesler says:

If Abdul Said's photo had been plastered all across our television screens and on the pages of our morning newspapers maybe -- just maybe -- someone might have recognized him or maybe --- just maybe -- someone at a mosque might have been shamed by this dishonorable act and encouraged to mount a Muslim religious campaign to find and turn him over to the police. . . .
Where is Abdul? Did he shoot himself? If so, where's the corpse? Did he flee the country after a well-planned murder? If so, what plane did he board and where did he go? . . .
I have no inside information but I assume that the police are asking all these questions. Authorities have offered a $10,000.00 reward for Abdul Said.
As of 3 a.m. Monday, it appears that The Washington Times is still the only newspaper outside Texas to report on these murders. Ms. Chesler, author of "The Death of Feminism," notes that Texas newspapers and TV stations have done extensive reporting about these murders, and cites a long list of bloggers who have been on the story since Jan. 2. Among those is Michelle Malkin, who notes that this crime is now being called an "honor killing" by the sisters' great-aunt:
Gail Gartrell, the sisters' great-aunt, said Saturday that Mr. Said had physically abused the two girls for years. Around Christmas, the girls' mother -- Ms. Gartrell's niece -- had fled because of Mr. Said's threats to kill the girls after he learned they had boyfriends, she said.
"She ran with them because she knew he would carry out the threat," Ms. Gartrell said. "This was an honor killing." (Emphasis added.)
Abdul Said is a native of Egypt. He is 6-foot-2, and weighs 180 pounds. He is wanted on two capital murder warrants and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Here's the "America's Most Wanted" profile, here is his photo:

And here are the two daughters he is accused of killing for "honor":

To one with a highly experienced eye, it is obvious the murders of the beautiful Said sisters of suburban Dallas were dishonor killings.

Great article! The news that Abdul Said's motive has been confirmed by the murdered girls' relative as an "Honor Killing" should have removed any hesitation by the nation's media to report this horrific act for what it is!

It's amazing how when christians protest abortion clinics, or some "artist" comes up with a God dishonoring piece of "art," or when christians want to pray at public events, such as graduations, or when christians want to post the 10 commandments or nativity scenes at Christmas, the media usually takes the opposite view and has no fear of saying so. But when Muslims do newsworthy acts, like slaughter their daughters as honor killings, you have a blackout. Why???? It's apparent that the brave souls at the head of the media pile know by now that they won't be killed by christians, but the same doesn't hold true of radical muslims. Talk about cowardice in media.

Oh those wacky peaceful musims.

This is so very sad -- and so unnecessary. Islam -- sick and perverted. Barbaric -- I pray this man gets the death penalty for his actions.

Is this the beginning of a trend of Islamic Sharia law taking hold in America? Every American should be paying attention to this case. We could see more of this in our nation as more and more Mulims come into this country and fail to assimilate to our laws and to our culture. They then decide to fall back on the Sharia law that plays such a big role in their countries of origin. This simply must stop or we're going to see more innocent people being killed. When is the mainstream American media going to start paying attention to this? When the first stoning takes place?
