White House press secretary Dana Perino watched herself battle it out with Helen Thomas on YouTube, and then decided her hair looked bad and needed to be cut.
Seriously.
Mrs. Perino disclosed this personal detail, and the fact that her husband asks her not to use "her White House voice," on a taping of NPR's quiz show, "Wait, Wait
Don't Tell Me!"
The episode will air tomorrow and Sunday.
Mrs. Perino was referring to an exchange with longtime columnist Ms. Thomas on Nov. 30.
One of the NPR hosts asked if Mrs. Perino ever has bad hair days.
"Yes, I did just last Thursday when I was having it out with Helen Thomas," Mrs. Perino said. "And then I saw it on YouTube."
"Really?" said show host Peter Sagal.
"And I decided I've got to have a haircut on Saturday," Mrs. Perino said.

That irrelavant Old Hag, Thomas...when is she ever going to retire? Is is obscene how that demented old Leftist is afforded so much respect & civility in the DC political & LSM circles... because she is a decrepit "female", no doubt. Still, I have a feeling she will stay there as long as she is conscious, just to be a pain in the a**.

It shows how much Helen Thomas contributes to the public good by being a fixture at the White House Press conferences.
Ms. Thomas helps shape the hairy discourse every day in a scary way.
It looks like tenure for correspondents ensures they can stay on forever regardless of their failings. The chance to see a new face in Washington's press corp is blocked by the good old girl network. Why does the press keep refusing to be open and willing to accept change?

Helen Thomas was, is, and will continue to irrelavant. At least Pelosi has a look-a-like in the press corp.
