At Townhall.com, Matt Lewis rates the Republican presidential candidates, with the headline, "One of these guys will win" -- but omits Ron Paul from his roundup.
The Paulistas will never forgive you for that one, Matt. You might as well have endorsed "fiat money" as to have dissed "Hope for America" this way.
Meanwhile, courtesy of HotAir.com, here's video of Paul's appearance Sunday on "Meet the Press":

How can a guy who sets the one-day record for fundraising, and who leads all Republicans for the 4th quarter NOT have a chance to win?
How can the guy who has won more straw polls than any other Republican not have a chance to win?
If he wasn't a threat, then why did the San Francisco Republican Alliance CANCEL their straw vote when hundreds of real, flesh and blood Paul supporters showed up?
If this had happened to any other candidate, it would have been front page news for days.
Maybe if that incident ALONE had been properly covered in the national press, Paul would be polling much higher than he is.
Plus, if it is really true that the polls are only calling people who voted in the 2004 Republican primary, where Bush ran unopposed, then it's no wonder Paul can't pick up more support. Those people are mostly hardcore war supporters who would be the least likely to support Paul.
The bottom line is - what has already happened in terms of support for Ron Paul is enough to tell everyone, especially inside the beltway, that libertarianism isn't as dead as they think. Those people donating to Ron Paul aren't stupid, they are smart. They know that big government business-as-usual has failed this country, and they want some big changes.
I don't think they're going to go away quietly now that they've got momentum, and also seen how little respect the mainstream media has for their values. What do they value? Respect for individual liberty and Constitutionally limited government. Libertarians are fed up, and we're not going to take it anymore.

If Ron Paul is not elected, I'm leaving the country and selling encryption technology to all other nations.

Dave-remember how many people said they would leave the country if Bush were reelected? Yea, they didn't mean it either. Don't be asinine and semi-treaseanous.

It can happen because the base of the party and everyone with any common sense knows that Ron Paul would create an economic and foreign policy disaster. All of his supporters just need the drug of improbability, that is why he has the thin, although feverish support that he does.

Ron Paul seeks not for power, but to pull it down. He doesn't manage, he leads. He doesn't threaten, he inspires. That's why his supporters are self-motivating, self-organizing, and donate.

Would the Giulianistas or the Romnistas or the Clinonistas or the Obamistas or McCainistas or the Richardsonistas or the Edwardsistas or the Bidenistas or the Huckabeestas be forgiving if they were left out? So stop being so smug about it.
Ron Paul is the best candidate for president, so stop being so afraid of that fact.

Hey rancov! So, Ron Paul "would create an economic and foreign policy disaster." Where are you living. Go fill up your tank, then drive to Wal Mart and buy some Chinese-made goods. Wake up!
