The words "war on terror" will no longer be used by the British government to describe attacks on the public, Military.com is reporting.
According to the country's chief prosecutor, Sir Ken Macdonald, terrorist fanatics are not soldiers fighting a war but simply members of an aimless "death cult."
"We resist the language of warfare, and I think the government has moved on this. It no longer uses this sort of language," sayeth Sir Macdonald.
"The people who were murdered on July 7 were not the victims of war. The men who killed them were not soldiers. They were fantasists, narcissists, murderers and criminals and need to be responded to in that way."
The term "Islamic terrorist" will also no longer be used. Officials believe it is unhelpful because it appears to directly link the religion to terrorist atrocities.

Sir Ken Macdonald's remarks are typical of any person when they are faced with an enemy they do not understand and are too afraid to fight. It is how the world reacted to Nazism and Communism at first. Let's not forget that it was the alliance Britain and America had and honored that ultimately defeated both.
Every age has it's Neville Chamberlain. Each age also has it's Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Regan, and Pope John Paul the second.
Hope springs eternal for man when he knows that there are indeed principals worth dieing for.
What a disgraceful coward we all witness in Sir Ken Macdonald.

Sorry, M. A. Sir MacDonald has shown moxy not cowardice by his statements. Those of us who have fought for freedom in our army are often given less respect than the so called "freedom fighters" who use international law to protect them when they commit atrocities while ignoring those same laws when it is convenient for them. The fact is that TERRORISTS ARE NOT SOLDIERS and therefore are not engaged in a war, but rather in indiscriminant bloodshed and terror.

I agree with M.A. in his comments on Sir Ken Macdonald's remarks describing the enemy as "simply members of an aimless 'death cult'." These people are the military arm of an Islamic-based movement to destroy Western civilization and to replace all Constitution-based law with Islam-based Sharia law. As this intention is well-documented in the speeches and writings of so-called mainstream Islamic organizations world-wide, including those of C.A.I.R. and the Islamic Brotherhood here in even the United States, it is beyond me to understand the degree of denial, by so many of the American public and others, of the fact that we are under attack by a determined Islam-based movement to force their RELIGIOUS FACIST way of life onto all of society. Until we have the courage to define the WAR that is currently raging throughout the world in REAL TERMS, we will remain at a disadvantage to defeat these neo-Nazi-like enemies of Western Civilization: the Islamo-fascists. Our failure to have the courage to expose the threat for what it really is both cowardly and criminal.
