WASTE OF TIME.IT WILL ONLY PUT PRESSURE ON ISRAEL TO GIVE MORE OF WHAT IT CANNOT. AND ASK NOTHING REAL OF THE ARABS.JEWS REPATRIATED TO THEIR HOMELAND. ARABS WHO WANT POLITICAL INDEPENDANCE SHOULD USE EXISTING ARAB COUNTRIES ! THERE ARE OVER 22 OF THEM. ENOUGH OF FOOLING THE WORLD. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PALESTINIAN ARAB PEOPLE. NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL. IT IS AN ARAB PROPAGANDA OF THE 1960'S PROPEGATED BY RICH,ANTISEMITIC,RACIST ISLAMIC AND IMPERIALIST ARAB DEPOTIC REGIMES, AND THEIR IDIOTIC LEFT WING SUPPORTERS.

I wish to call into perspective the Israeli and Palestinian hostilities that to me, continues to endanger everyone. It is clear to me that without outside intervention, this area will not see lasting, or even a moment's peace. It is past time for a change, the citizens on both sides have suffered too long for the sake of national pride and bragging rights to land so steeped in each other's blood there is no letting go of the initial causes of conflict centuries ago.
It has manifest itself in opposing, fixated viewpoints, and if the laws of motion are of any use, then Palestinians and Israelis will continue to fight unchecked until acted upon by an outside force.
If there is one thing about people that's a given, it's that they can only change themselves. You can try to understand them, change their circumstances, try to point the roads to peace, but in the end, they must want it for themselves, knowing what the alternatives are.
The goal of a Palestinian State as supported, gives hope to the stateless, and is worthy in that regard. The thought of a Palestinian state without terrorism is today, unthinkable without the change in attitude necessary from the parties to find peace and eventual trust in that peace.
Annapolis is a point reached in this process, not a political destination for a photo - op.

I do not agree with the U.S. supporting and hosting the Annapolis conference. I have studied the Bible and I agree with the word of
God that Jerusalem and Israel belongs to the Jews. It always has and it always will belong to the Jews. Making concessions has never brought peace to Israel in the past, and the Palestinians have never been satisfied with anything and never will be. I think we (the U.S.) should let Israel and God do what needs to be done, and we should stop asking them to give up their land. We should especially stop hosting talks that lead to dividing Jerusalem

Carolyn Vaughn,
So goes the call for a holy war to satisfy prophesy. It is readily apparent to all that these troubles are the works of talking monkeys. The good and the bad. "God" has little interest in involvement with mankind's petty dysfunctionality. Otherwise ethical infants would have had their diapers changed long ago, and we wouldn't have need to discus this running sore on the human condition.
Mideast peace is not as difficult to achieve as one may believe, it does require that the parties to it acquire a different mind set. As for creating the climate for that change in mindset to happen, we ( those of us sick of being witness to it) must be the instigators.
Those witnesses include America.
