Somehow I don't think Harry Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, either George Bush, and even John Kennedy would have acted so silly as Obama did on Ellen. I don't think any of those presidents would have even gone on a show like Ellen, either. Call me old fashioned, but I don't think our presidents should act like trained seals on entertainment shows. To appear on news shows is one thing. To do the "bump and grind" on national TV is just pathetic and pandering to children, not adults. If this is the best we can do today when it comes to presidential candidates, we're in serious trouble.
