First lady Laura Bush, a former librarian, really likes books. This is an excerpt from her interview with Fox News this morning about tomorrow's National Book Festival on the national Mall downtown, an event Mrs. Bush started in 2001:
Q: What would you say, Mrs. Bush, is your favorite book of all time?
MRS. BUSH: Well, there are so many great books, that's really hard to ask a librarian — that's like asking which child is your favorite.

Well, knock me over with a feather! I would have thought that the favorite book of the wife of President "Childrens do learn" would be Sisters by Lynne Cheney.
Cheney's book has it all -- fornication, incest, adultery , contraception and lesbian couplings. Not to mention, lynchings and cattle theft. All in a wild-west setting.

Guffaw . . . the things you do not know about President and Mrs. Bush are apparently thorough. We are blessed, and will miss them in 2009. Let's pray for a Republican replacement. It would be a shame to let the demons back into the People's House.
