A new blog, called "Dump Lindsey Graham," was created by a South Carolinian known only as "Fed Up in SC," who writes an open letter on behalf of "the people who elected you":
We will start with a basic truth: you are not smarter than the rest of us. ... You are not intellectually superior to the folks in Central, SC, or South Carolinians in general. So, stop, STOP, telling us that we just don't understand. We DO understand. We understand very well. We understand that we elected you to represent us in Washington, and you have, so far, failed miserably to do that. ..."Fed Up in SC" is apparently one of those Republicans shocked by Stephen Dinan's Thursday report in The Washington Times about Mr. Graham conferring with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy on the Senate amnesty bill. As Ralph Z. Hallow reported Friday, this is inflicting damage both on Mr. Graham and on Arizona Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign in South Carolina. You have comitted the cardinal sin of a politician: you have begun to believe your press. You listen much more closely to your handlers, and DC insiders, than to your constituents. The public outcry you hear against you in South Carolina is not a small, organized minority. It is the voice of the majority begging you, pleading with you, to fulfill your promise and responsibility to the people who elected you:
Please represent us.

Yes!!! Go get him!!! Can you recall him? He is not looking out for you, but for his own political promotion. Don't let him slide.

South Carolina - I hope you view this with pride - and you have given us the South's version of Teddy Kennedy, or closer to home, Lindsey Graham.

Regrettably, Lindsey Graham has demonstrated that he is not representing those who elected him to office if he is willing to sell out in this manner so that he might secure a position in a (highly improbable)McCain administration. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
Let's not forget this when he runs for re-election.

The Senator didn't do much of anything for veterans when he was a member of the House, he has done less than anything in the Senate. Designing new tee shirt to display.
LTC Lindsey Graham AKA Senator Lindsey Graham does not properly support veteran issues!!

Hope to see many more comments against Graham. I can't believe him. Wish someone would set up a site for Martinez. I want him out of office in Florida. Thanks for the opportunity to express some frustration with these politicians who think they own this country.

I am considering selling my home in Georgia and moving to South Carolina just so I can vote against this R.I.N.O. in the '08 primary.
Posted by georgiawalker | June 8, 2007 9:30 PM
Let't all send Lindsey a message in the GOP primary and vote for any other candidate than John McCain!

What happened to Lindsey Graham? He used to be on our side.
Posted by Jane | June 8, 2007 10:52 PM
Welcome to the fight, from those of us in Southern California who have been trying to shine the light of truth on this for the past twenty years. Isn't it nice to have your votes cancelled out by illegal aliens signed up for the Democratic Party by La Raza and Ted Kennedy, and Lindsey actually called him, to find out which way to vote? Nice! This is just the first round, to see what is next, Google La Voz de Atzlan and read what is next. Keep your powder dry people, you have not seen anything yet....

I don't know why the turncoat doesn't just go ahead and cross the aisle and get it over with.

I want to add my two Illinois Senators to the list of shame, Dick Durbin & Barack Hussein Obama. These clowns are just as much of an embarrassment to the country as Sen. Lindsey Graham. Who's side are they on?
Posted by Patrick Brent | June 9, 2007 12:23 AM
Look for McCain and Grahamnesty to turn Dem after 08. Only way they MIGHT hold on to their jobs.
Farkin arseholes.

its about time. I wrote to the SC Rep Party when he was part of the group that screwed up the Court appointments saying put someone up against this guy.We need to start to clean the hen house in 2008. and then do the same thing 2 years later.get rid of the specters, hagels, martinez, collins, etc.
Posted by keith gibson | June 9, 2007 11:25 AM
Dump this bum. he is another elitist, corporate-backed rat. It is time to start cleaning house in the senate and electing reps. who listen to the people--not the illegal alien mob and la raza!
Posted by Hoss Tagge | June 9, 2007 2:04 PM
I hope you vote him out and that all these Senators who endorsed this nonsense of amnesty in SB 1348 get voted out by the people of this country.
Pray for America. Register someone to vote. Call your elected reps. Join together and lets turn this Country back to its true core values.

Hey, lets not get all excited about Graham, despicable though he is. Uncle Teddy Kennedy has assured us that the LA RAZA lobby in Washington will decide amnesty for American citizens. Have'nt you heard? How many Mexican embassies are there in the U.S. now? I'll just go and ask Linday Graham.

Bush, McCain, Graham, Kyl, Clinton, Reid, Kennedy, etc.----are not representing the US or US citizens. They are representing big business, illegals, and La Raza. We have to stop this as we are on the verge of losing our country. Imagine what kind of country your children and grandchildren will inherit!!!!!
Posted by Bren | June 9, 2007 2:45 PM
Greetings from occupied Long Island, NY. I stand with you patriotic Americans from the great state of SC where I have friends. This traitor needs to go as does El Presidente Jorge W. Bush. Hopefully, this can be done peacefully as we go forward to elections. I, and many I know believe we could be within 2 to 3 years from Civil War II. I hope that will not be necessary.
God help us and God bless America!!!

Some believe Graham is compromised over some hidden personal flaw which is being used to force him to vote the way that special interest groups want him to.
If you've ever seen Lindsey speak, I'm sure you can imagine what that personal secret might be. I've never known a heterosexual to be named Lindsey.
Posted by Biff Baxter | June 9, 2007 3:24 PM
Lindsey Graham, Ted Kennedy, Jon Kyle, John McCain and Harry Reid all need to be removed from Office. They are all TRAITORS.In Az. All elected officials are required to sign a recall agreement. It states that if they do not represent the best interest of the people,it reqiures them to resign on a recall. I think all states should have that in place.
Posted by dot hollis | June 9, 2007 3:31 PM
Senator,
As a naturalized citizen who came to this country LEGALLY, I take great offense to you calling me a "bigots" for wanting to protect my country.
Sir, I may be a bigot, but you are a traitor and this country and its people do not need the likes of you representing us.
WE THE PEOPLE, are going to clean up our government and elect officials who will represent us, not the interests of people who enter our country illegally.
Posted by Lisa K | June 9, 2007 3:38 PM
Sen. Lindsey Graham reminds me of someone that kisses someone's butt if it benefits him.
Pucker up Lindsey! La Raza is bending over!
What a moron he is!
Posted by Brianna | June 9, 2007 3:40 PM
I wish I lived in South Carolina so thet I could vote Graham out of office. What a turncoat.
Richard from New Hampshire

Linsay Graham sounds less like a conservative and more like a bleeding heart liberal. Bring illegals of of the shadows my eye. They're everywhere. Went into a bank of america and that's all that was in there.
Posted by Dennis Epperson | June 9, 2007 4:30 PM
Republicans..........even if you have to vote for a Democrat in the next election......do it if the Democrat is running against Graham. Graham has to be taught a lesson and a lesson for the Republican party!
Posted by Larry | June 9, 2007 5:09 PM
When I think of Lindsey Graham, the one thing that comes to mind is his despicable performance at that La Raza meeting several weeks ago, where in order to pander to a group of people who will never vote for him (liberal latinos), he slandered as bigots those people who actually did vote for him.
It would probably be a good thing if a conservative took him out in the primary...just so long as the challenger could then win the general.

Get rid of Graham... ,we in Georgia have two and they are just as bad, but a little less stupid. Still we have to get someone who represents Ga. and America. I hope Chambliss will be the first bought and payed for Ga.Senator ... to bite the dust in 2008, along with Lying George our lame (brain) duck President.
Phil
In Ga. where we
all feel the same

We have the same problem here in Idaho with Sen. Larry Craig whom also sided with the McKennedy-Bush immigration amnesty sell out.
Sen. Craig has always stood for what's good for America & Idaho until recently as the Ag. lobby here really wants those cheap immigrant laborers be they legal or otherwise.
However he is up for re-election in 2008 (he's not announced yet) and some real patriots will be running against him should he run.
I will not support Sen. Craig next time, not after this.
Tom Tancredo in 2008!
Posted by Mark Z | June 9, 2007 6:46 PM
If you are concerned about illegal immigration nobody is doing more than Presidential candidate Tom Tancredo. While he is a long shot, he can FORCE the other candidates to deal with and talk about the problem.

The good people of South Carolina have a chance to kick Graham out of office and to the curb for calling the American People "bigots". I wish I could see that happen to Ted "The Fat One" Kennedy too but unfortunetly people in my state worship him like a god. I however see Kennedy along with Graham as a sellout.
Posted by John Myrick | June 9, 2007 7:34 PM
The American public has completely lost all respect for L. Graham. We feel sorry for the people of South Carolina who deserve better representation. Our prayers are with your state in hopes that at election time you will be able to overcome adversity and elect a true advocate for your state and our country.Kennedy,McCain,Kyl,McConnell, and Mr. Bush also have completely lost the respect of the majority of the American people by their amnesty/legalization push for illegal aliens.
Posted by Eddie | June 9, 2007 10:08 PM
The American people want to know what their representatives have been doing. It obviously is not the peoples' business. It appears we have corrupted civil servants. Term limits is a must. We do not need 100 year old senators. The ones that are 75 now seem to have lost their collective minds.
We need Term limits and Age Limits and Mandatory Drug testing for all Branches of Government.

I live in California, but I will be giving money to his primary opponent in '08, simply because he betrayed the base of the GOP. Hasta la vista Lindsey!

LINDSEY GRAHAM IS A JOKE, SELLOUT, who WILL BE REPLACED NEXT ELECTION. PATHETIC.... ENFORCE OUR LAWS FIRST. ILLEGAL means ILLEGAL not "undocumented. Political correctness is killing the USA
Posted by Nathan Bedford Forrest | June 10, 2007 8:38 AM
To my vexed friends in South Carolina,
Please strike while the Iron Is Hot - Recall Graham!
Blowing off steam only feels good - its now time for an election change in '08, but more importantly, Change and Action Right Now!
A Recall petition might not get there but it will send a clear signal - a poiltical end game -for Senator Graham.
You go get your fellow SCian's to sign on so you can sign off Graham and push him out.
Posted by John McKenna | June 10, 2007 11:41 AM
I made many calls, sent e-mails, letters and faxes for weeks in oppositon to the amnesty bill.
I thought after it died in the Senate, (for now at least), I could relax for a while, but I am so mad I'm still sending letters, e-mails, faxes and making phone calls to the those who supported this surrender to the illegal invasion.
Graham must go along with the others, both Democrat and Republican.
Posted by Bob | June 10, 2007 5:39 PM
SC Republicans/conservatives need to agressively pursue this. It is not enough to defeat Graham; you need a good replacement.
Posted by Spence | June 11, 2007 8:06 AM
Mr. Graham,
With all due respect for an elected person, let it be said that I feel utter disgust for your wormy diatribe on the Iranian situation.
How many other soverign states shall we put on the "attack" list?

Take heart South Carolina! From the state that gave you Harry Reid comes this blog of hope: there will come a day when you will take down this weasel RINO Lindsey Graham and send a message to Republicans everywhere-- give this great country to the Mexicans and taste the bloody salsa of defeat.
As for Harry Reid, he won by a razor thin margin the last time he ran. The weasel will taste the desert dirt in the next election.
