Florida primary polling

A new Rasmussen Reports survey gives Rudy Giuliani a decent-sized lead in Florida's Republican primary, but also shows the contest to be a real race that could be won by several candidates.

First, here are the numbers:

Giuliani 27 percent
Mitt Romney 19 percent
Fred Thompson 16 percent
John McCain 10 percent
Mike Huckabee 9 percent
Ron Paul 5 percent
Tom Tancredo 1 percent
Duncan Hunter 1 percent
Not sure 12 percent

That's an increase of 8 percentage points for Romney and a drop of seven points for Thompson since September.

And compare the numbers to the Democrats': Hillary Rodham Clinton has 42 percent, Barack Obama 17 percent and John Edwards 16 percent.

Mike Gravel is a surprising fourth place, at 6 percent; Dennis Kucinich polls 4 percent; and Bill Richardson, Joe Biden and Chris Dodd each have 3 percent or less.

The 15 percentage-point difference between Clinton and Giuliani is telling — particularly since the second- and third-place candidates in both parties are about the same. It confirms the conventional wisdom that Republican voters are less settled in their choices, but also that they have more distinct choices for voters to decide on.

Of course Mike Gravel is polling higher in Florida, the media actually gave him some coverage down there since he's the only candidate campaigning. If the media just gives the guy coverage people will actually know about him. And once they know about him they'll treat him like the serious candidate that he is and learn that a lot of the stuff he's saying is great and then they'll support him!

So stop censoring the man by ignoring him and give him some coverage. Write about the issues. Criticize the 5 major corporations in control of televised media. It's up to journalists to let people know the options. Not to make them for them. The people should decide!

Colbert gravel kucinich paul nader perot carter [conyers?rangel?] united for truth elicit fear smear blacklist.

The people know too much,

I like Mike Gravel... He had some hustbazh when he STOOD UP TO THE DRAFT..

That being said.. he believes in ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT... do a youtube search gravel one world government... you'll find the video..

THAT IS NUTS.. and is what RON PAUL SUPPORTERS ARE COMPLETELY AGAINST... as should ALL AMERICANS BE!!!!

I like Mike.. but i'm voting RON PAUL

Mitt Romney is either ignorant of Latter Day Saints doctrine (which is definitely not Christian by all basics of the faith - I have a brother in law who is Mormon) or he is lying and hoping no one actually publishes a summary of their doctrine which would be appalling to even nominal Christians. Google it.
