Sen. Barack Obama's denials and his campaigns denials that there was any contact between themselves and the Canadian government were clearly in error.
Today it was discovered that there was contact between the Canadian consulate in Chicago and the Obama campaign's senior economic advisor Austan Goolsbee. But Goolsbee now claims that he didn't say that Mr. Obama's NAFTA comments were "political posturing."
But as much as the Clinton campaign is hyped up about "Goolsbeegate" — Mark Ambinder's preferred term — or "NAFTA-gate" — Clinton's title — they are a little more interested in the trial of Tony Rezko, based on the conference call today.
Howard Wolfson says Mr. Obama needs to answer the following questions:
"We have urged the Obama campaign to come clean and reveal everything they can about the long detailed relationship between Tony Rezko and Sen. Obama. How many fund-raisers did Tony Rezko hold for Mr. Obama? How much money was raised? How much was bundled by Mr. Rezko? What due diligence has been done to see if there were any straw donors to Mr. Obama that came from the Tony Rezko? How many meetings were there between Sen. Obama and Tony Rezko and what was the substance of those meetings?
Those questions should be answered and Mark Penn was right to say, "Howard Kurtz alluded to the idea that if someone with a 17-year relationship with Sen. Clinton, who had business dealings with her and had raised money for her and given to her campaigns, was going on trial there would be an enormous number of questions with answers demanded immediately."
But Wolfson tipped his hand later, saying, "You know I just got some information that just came across my desk, that there is some speculation in the Rezko trial that [Sen. Obama] he might be called as a defense witness."
A betting man would say Mr. Wolfson is holding a pair of threes but representing a straight flush.

Perhps Wolfson should present those questions to Hillary,Bill and DNC. Easy to find web address actually points to Rezko DONATION information to Clinton AND the DNC.
My question is There some UNKNOWN political Connection between Rezko, Clinton and DNC-or hidden agenda?

Just a week ago, The New York Times reported that Bill Clinton attended a 2005
dinner with the president of Kazakhstan and a Canadian mining executive. Clinton
praised the thuggish president at the dinner; the mining executive got a lucrative uranium contract - and the foundation a few weeks later received $31 million from the mining exec, with the promise of more to come.
And in January, Bill Clinton abruptly severed his investment-fund business relationship with longtime donor Ron Burkle, reportedly departing with a $20 million personal payout.
At the very least, then, a $5 million loan is not beyond the Clintons' means.
True enough, the former president last year implied that he himself wouldn't put personal money into the campaign: "[The Supreme Court says] you couldn't stop me from spending all the money I've saved over the last five years on Hillary's campaign if I wanted to, even though it would clearly violate the spirit of campaign-finance reform."
Then again, the former president has done violence to the truth in the past. So is it unfair to ask whether, say, the Burkle deal was designed to pass along cash to a struggling campaign?
Not at all.
Clouds have always hovered over Clinton fund-raising operations. And the lack of personal financial transparency demonstrated by both Clintons further complicates matters.
Given that the entire family fortune has been accumulated since the Clintons left the White House, it's not unreasonable to ask whence the money came.
That fortune was, after all, the basis for the $5 million loan that's helped keep the senator's campaign afloat.
Sen. Obama, who has long since made public his tax returns, yesterday challenged his opponent to do the same.
It is, frankly, the least she can do."

The Clintons have a lot of dirt in their past. Really who wants Bill back in the White House. When the phone rings at 3:00 a.m. Hillary is not going to answer because she'll be to busy keepings tabs on Bill and accounting for all his cigars!!!!

Besides this "error" in judgement by obama, guess news do not think important to report: *****His Bill on the Global Proverty Act (S2433)that would tax U.S. citizens 845 Billion & to be handled by the corrupt U.N. & giving away american to U.N. (WHICH I THINK IS A HUGE PROBLEM) Then his refusal to salute during Pledge, his being sworn in using Muslin Book, his heavy financial backers (many anti-American) Soros is one, and doc. of his prior jobs, how he got them, his "FAST" rise, his wife, hates U.S., etc. To me, the media has not cared to report these UNUSUAL items.

All you Obama lovers just look at facts he lied about his religion and his affiliation with his pastor anti American. It shows where he was in church listening to anti white speeches. He lied about his meetings with Canada regarding NAFTA; he lied about his dealings with Rezko. His supporters said Hillary will do anything to win the election. He is doing the same, he severed his relations with the where he was going for 20 years just to win the election. I believe we're missing the greater issue here. Irregardless of what was said at the meeting, and supposedly a similar meeting with a Clinton representative, what happens to trust when a consular officer goes to the press with his version of what was said. What else have they been blabbing about, and to whom? Our enemies are not necessarily their enemies...Cuba, for instance, is on good terms with Canada. An apt analogy would be to have your local priest divulge your confession to the press. No more cofessions for me, thank you.

Read the Rezko trial unfold daily on the Chicago Tribune website, as I have, and you, too, will start to make the connections. Rezko buys politicians, and it looks likes Obama was one of them.
