Green works out for Ainge, Celtics

Georgetown forward Jeff Green worked out for the Boston Celtics on Friday morning at McDonough Arena, and according to Danny Ainge, the Celtics' executive director of basketball operations, the team came away impressed.

"The workout went very well," said Ainge, whose team has the fifth overall selection in the June 28 NBA Draft. "Jeff is a very versatile and complete player. I like him a lot."

Green, the Big East player of the year, declared for the NBA Draft but has yet to hire an agent. Green has until Monday to decide whether to remain in the draft or return to school.

The rising senior was unavailable to comment, and Ainge said he didn't know what decision Green was going to make.

"That's his decision and you will have to get that from him," Ainge said. "I guess we will know on Monday."
