Hell, I'd almost ride my bicycle through there, too. It'll go far faster than that traffic.

Yikes ... slow down a bit (no pun intended). Here in Loudoun County Virginia (just outside of DC) we've been using the "toll road" as a main thoroughfare for getting home. It's owned by a private company and the fares have been going up and up and up because the company can't make any money off of it.
It's a disaster.
