The new Guzie [Mark Zuckerman]

OK, the crane has stayed out of the spotlight for a while now (I think it's burrowed itself underneath the tarp) so attention is back on baseball.

And the star so far today is none other than Cristian Guzman, who just belted his SECOND homer of the game, a solo shot to right off Indians reliever (and former Oriole) Rick Bauer. So for those keeping track, Guzman has now homered from both sides of the plate today. Number of previous times Guzman had homered twice in a game in his career: zero.

It's now Nats 7, Indians 0 going into the fifth. Jason Bergmann's day is complete. His line: 4 ip, 2 h, 0 r, 1 bb, 4 k. Nicely done. Dennis Tankersley now on in relief.

Meanwhile in Winter Haven, new Nats director of baseball information Mike Gazda reports that the split-squad Indians lead the split-squad Nats 3-0 after three innings. Matt Chico allowed back-to-back homers in the third to Josh Barfield and Andy Marte.

**UPDATE: Chico's final line: 3 2/3 ip, 6 h, 3 er, 3 bb, 1 so.**

Also in that game, Elijah Dukes was hit by a pitch in the left hand, on his ring and pinkie fingers. He was removed from the game as a precaution. More info when we've got it.
