Sen. Hillary Clinton writes supporters this afternoon, promising again that she'll keep fighting for them and asking for more cash to fuel the last 13 days of the campaign.
I owe our 35-point win in Kentucky yesterday to your incredible support. So let me ask you -- do you think we should let the TV talking heads have the final say in this race? Or should we do what we have always done, and fight together for what you and I believe in?I have never for one moment forgotten what this race is about -- the millions of people who are looking to you and me for the leadership America needs. It's about getting our economy moving again. It's about bringing the war in Iraq to a responsible end. It's about fulfilling America's energy needs while protecting the planet for our children and grandchildren. It's about making sure that every man, woman, and child in America has health care.
Now we have just three races left, and your help is absolutely critical in these final two weeks. So let's do it. Let's keep fighting and winning together, as we have all along.
Contribute today and let's keep driving toward victory.
Let's talk about the state of this race.
I've won more votes than anyone running for the Democratic nomination in the history of our party. I've won states that will total 308 electoral votes in November -- more than enough to carry the general election. And it is critical that we make certain the more than 2 million voters in Florida and Michigan are heard.
We can let the media decide this race. We can let the pundits be the ones who determine our party's nominee. Or we can listen to the voters. Yesterday, voters in Kentucky joined you in sending a clear message -- this campaign is far from over.
Throughout it all, through the ups and downs of this race, you've been there, supporting me every step of the way. Help me send a strong message that this race isn't over yet.
Contribute now to help us in the final three races.
I'm so proud of what we accomplished yesterday in Kentucky, and of all the victories we celebrated together. We've worked too hard to stop now. Thank you for your incredible support. I don't have to tell you that I couldn't do this without you.
Sincerely,
Hillary Rodham Clinton

you need to drop the race now and help us to fight with Mac Cain. If you love this country more than your dream.

Hillary
It is time to give it up. It is not going to happen. This is becoming a really sad situation.

Yes Hillary, Kentucky, as well as West Virginia, have sent the message. But, is this the message you want to be associated with? Is this what is fueling your manic drive to steal this nomination away from the rightful winner? The message of "Sorry, White's Only"? This is your "message"?

If Ms. Clinton believes she should be the Democratic nominee based on her number crunching and not on the current rules; if she feels that by winning the states means receiving all the electoral votes which means she is the rightful nominee, she should make it her aspiration to have the rules changed.

Hillary does make a good argument....but in alot of those states, that Hillary is suggesting are NEEDED in a general election, would vote for Obama over McCain as well.....they are'nt either/or states....they want a democrat, so its a point, but not very convincing....that is why the superdelegates, party insiders who know the game, are rallying behind Obama....
there are only 2 explanations for her staying in the race...maybe 3....
1. she wants to get the VP slot by trying to keep her supporters behind her and make that argument to Obama that he would need them...
2. she will keep her supporters to run as an independent in the general election...
3. she needs money to pay back her 20+ Million dollar debt
either way, the first 2 dont bring unity to the party.....Obama is 185 delegates ahead even after yesterday.....Superdelegates and the people have voted......Obama is the nominee, Hillary shirts are now half off, her supporters are jumping ship, and her donors have dwindled....I hope she does not tarnish her good name

In a way, I'm glad that this thing has gone the way it has. And it's because finally people in this country are having a chance to see the Clintons for what they really are: a bunch of racist opportunists. Bill Clinton started it by talking about race, and appealing to whites to vote their race since blacks are doing so, like they did by talking about Jesse Jackson. Before Ohio, they released Obama's picture in Somali dress to carricature him. Then the 3AM call, the pastor of his church, the bitter comment. None of it di any damage except for the racist illiterate whites. All along Bill Clinton was campaigning in small towns in the back of pickup trucks asking people to vote for her because she needs "you people" leaving no doubt that he meant white people. Finally in West Virginia she flat out askes for "white working class voters" to vote for her. Knowing how backward the voters in West Virginia and Kentucky are, therefore likely to come out for her strong. But the people I most feel sorry for are those so-called black leaders who had been supporting these racists all along. Isn't surprising that they've all kept their silence while the Clintons are showing their true racist colors.

This is America. She has every right to pursue whatever her dream may be. You HRC haters back off because one day you will regret that you have made the wrong choice and the country will suffer as a result of it. No sin go unpunished. I am amazed at how undemocratic the democrats are.
Obervation from an independent.
