Bill and Hillary Clinton have come a long way since claiming $1 and $2 tax deductions for donating their used underwear to charity in the 1980s, earning $109 million between 2000 and 2007 and giving $10.3 million of it to charitable causes.The joint federal income tax return figures, released yesterday by the Clinton campaign, show that the couple made $20.4 million last year and paid $5.1 million in federal income taxes - giving $3 million in charitable donations, including $1 million from the proceeds of Mr. Clinton's new book "Giving."
The release, held until late yesterday afternoon, comes five weeks after Mrs. Clinton promised to make public the documents during a televised presidential debate. She had resisted doing so for a long time, despite the fact she made her opponent's tax returns an issue during her 2000 Senate race against Republican Rick Lazio.
"The Clintons have now made public 30 years of tax returns, a record matched by few people in public service," said campaign spokesman Jay Carson. "None of Hillary Clinton's presidential opponents have revealed anything close to this amount of personal financial information."
The multimillion-dollar income puts the couple in a new league from their days when Mr. Clinton served as governor of Arkansas and Mrs. Clinton was a lawyer at Little Rock's Rose Law. Back then, she annually donated dozens of bags of clothing - hers, Bill's and daughter Chelsea's - to Goodwill, the Salvation Army and local shelters and charities, taking the time to personally list and value each item.

Sen. Clinton can keep running until she has spent all of her and Bill's $100 million, spent all of her political capital, and all of the country's goodwill toward her and the Clinton name, but she will not win.
Numbers are stubborn things. And voters. Sen. Clinton simply has not won enough votes, enough delegates, or enough states. Drip by drip Obama will win over the remaining superdelegates too.
There are not enough voters, delegates, or states left to make up the difference.

Large numbers of Republicans have been voting for Barack Obama in the DEMOCRATIC primaries, and caucuses from early on. Because they feel he would be a weaker opponent against John McCain. And because they feel that a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket would be unbeatable. And also because with a Clinton and Obama ticket you are almost 100% certain to get quality, affordable universal health care very soon.
But first, all of you have to make certain that Hillary Clinton takes the democratic nomination and then the Whitehouse. NOW! is the time. THIS! is the moment you have all been working, and waiting for. You can do this America. �Carpe diem� (harvest the day).
I think Hillary Clinton see�s a beautiful world of plenty for all. She is a woman, and a mother. And it�s time America. Do this for your-selves, and your children�s future. You will have to work together on this and be aggressive, relentless, and creative. Americans face an even worse catastrophe ahead than the one you are living through now.
You see, the medical and insurance industry mostly support the republicans with the money they ripped off from you. And they don�t want you to have quality, affordable universal health care. So they can continue to make more immoral profits for them-selves.
Hillary Clinton has actually won by much larger margins than the vote totals showed. And lost by much smaller vote margins than the vote totals showed. Her delegate count is actually much higher than it shows. And higher than Obama�s. She also leads in the electoral college numbers that you must win to become President in the November national election. HILLARY CLINTON IS ALREADY THE TRUE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!
As much as 30% of Obama's primary, and caucus votes are Republicans trying to choose the weakest democratic candidate for McCain to run against. These Republicans have been gaming the caucuses where it is easier to vote cheat. This is why Obama has not been able to win the BIG! states primaries. Even with Republican vote cheating help.
Hillary Clinton has been OUT MANNED! OUT GUNNED! and OUT SPENT! 4 and 5 to 1. Yet Obama has only been able to manage a very tenuous, and questionable tie with Hillary Clinton.
If Obama is the democratic nominee for the national election in November he will be slaughtered. Because the Republican vote cheating help will suddenly evaporate. All of this vote fraud and republican manipulation has made Obama falsely look like a much stronger candidate than he really is. YOUNG PEOPLE. DON�T BE DUPED! Think about it. You have the most to lose.
The democratic party needs to fix this outrage. I suggest a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket. Everyone needs to throw all your support to Hillary Clinton NOW! So you can end this outrage against YOU the voter, and against democracy.

How many more lies do we have to hear coming out of Hillary 'sniper-fire" Clinton's mouth before she calls it quits? I don't know why people bother to go to her rallies to hear more of her lies.
While we are on the subject, I too would like to know how Clinton's aids reached Vince Foster's home before police arrived?
How did they managed to know where all of Clinton's files were so that they could get away with all of them before police arrived?
How can Hillary say she is against NAFTA and have her campaign manager make backdoor deals with expanding Free Trade Agreements with Columbian government?
Clintons seem to be opportunistic givers. She announced $100,000 to South Carolina library few weeks before North Carolina primary. Giving for fame, votes, etc makes it meaningless.
Hillary "sniper-fire" Clinton and her campaign chief Mark "snake" Penn are out to help themselves, not the common working class people of this country.
Read the papers with open mind, and vote for someone who is truly willing to work for the working class people of this country. Please vote for someone trustworthy, whether it is McCain or Obama.
According to Bloomberg, April 5 -- "The communications and lobbying firm run by Mark Penn, the chief campaign strategist for Hillary Clinton, was fired by the Colombian government after Penn called a meeting with his clients an 'error in judgment'".
That tells me that Mark Penn's company is not just in communications, but in lobbying as well. He reportedly was/is trying to get Free Trade Agreement with Columbian government passed in US. in my book that is called lobbying.
