NBC has released an excerpt from its interview with Barack and Michelle Obama.
MEREDITH VIEIRA: Michelle, do you feel that the Reverend Wright betrayed your husband?MICHELLE OBAMA: I think Barack has spoken so clearly and eloquently about this.
MEREDITH VIEIRA: But do you personally feel that the Reverend Wright...
MICHELLE OBAMA: You know what I think Meredith? I think we gotta move forward. You know, this conversation doesn't help my kids. You know, it doesn't help kids out there who are looking for us to make decisions and choices about how we're going to better fund education.
The full interview airs tomorrow at 7 a.m.
The Obama campaign released video of the Obamas meeting with Indiana families today, including a segment where the First Lady hopeful talks about the balancing act of being a working mother.
"Those stresses tend to eat up families," she said.
Also: "Work isn't a choice. It never felt like a choice to me."

They should really go deeper into why during the campaign it was the first time in her adult life she had been proud of the U.S. That seems to be a very cynical statement with regard to any events prior.

Michelle, what a phony! This woman doesn't care for anyone but herself and her agenda. When Meredith Viera asked questions about Wright, she said, "We gotta move forward,” I agree! I feel the same way about slavery and the resulting "racism". I live in Los Angeles and there are people who don't like other groups, period. Let it go! I find "racism" in almost every show or comedy club "you white people, or cracker" and then there is some demeaning follow up. Dumb Blonde jokes are "racist". "Racism" goes all ways, so l accept it as part of some people's expression but enough already. _You may get the stupid, "Oh, I feel so guilty" vote, from some of the sheepish Whites who feel it is important to say they helped elect the first Black President. It won't happen, because many of us don't trust you or your husband. _Wright's hate-filled rants against Whites, and your "finally proud of America" statement and Barak's comment in Iowa, "When America gets a cold, Black America gets pneumonia" when he didn't include any other group or the poor it exposed his dangerous and exclusionary agenda is being revealed and it is an ugly picture. I am voting for the best person for ALL of America, and it is not your husband. Yes, let him be a high school teacher, like you wanted. _So Michelle, yes, let's move forward and quit whining, quit blaming the "Whites", for everything. You want some "tough truth telling"? Many of us "Whites" are tired of this PC BS, so grow up and take responsibility for your life and the way it is. We all have overcome obstacles, disadvantages, and hardships. If you want the "We suffered the most" award, you can have it, hold it and talk about it. The rest of us are going to be doing business as usual and take care of our responsibilities, our families and our communities, which include ALL races, genders, religions, etc._Michelle Obama is like a Miss Black America (there actually is this contest), with the universal answers. "I want World Peace" or "I want better education". So Michelle, for once we agree, let's forget "racism" and its "victim consciousness", and let's move forward!

I feel that Wright is only abusing his constitutional freedom of speech. He uses religion to grand stand his feelings and express his disgust of how the Black people are treated. Yet, Black people continue to call each other the "N" word whether in recognition or anger but no one else can? Wright thinks that Black's were the only ones oppressed. What about some White's, Brown's, Red's and Yellow's? Each one of these races have been oppressed in one way or another but Wright thinks that the Blacks have the right to be first in everything. Call me prejudice but I strongly feel that if you made every effort to better yourself in life and not commit any crimes then you deserve not to be oppressed. If you are the kind of race that feels that everyone owes you something that YOU have not earned then go back to where your heritage started and see if they will accept your grandstanding. I am willing to bet that they will kick you out and or kill you. I feel oppressed when someone who doesn't work can cook out everyday and put down a few. I feel oppressed when I pay my bills to support my family. I feel oppressed when I have to dish out money for my health care and that of my family. And all when I see others of all colors get the free ride and not have to lift a finger or pay what my wife and I pay. Hey Wright, who owes me for that? I see alot of wanted help signs in Louisiana? I know that Houston is having alot of problems with alot of undesireables from Louisiana. You know what Wright, if you don't like it then leave this wonderful country of ours and see if anyone lets you get on that grandstand. I am a red blooded American Mr. Wright and my color does not have anything to do with how I portray myself in public. I am proud to be an American and have made every effort to better my life and not be a free loader like other colors.Viva Obama!
