More fuel to the campaign fire, courtesy of a fundraising e-mail to Sen. Hillary Clinton's supporters from campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe:
Dear Friend,Do you think Bill Clinton is like Joe McCarthy?
Of course you don't. Neither do I. But Barack Obama must because this past weekend, his campaign compared President Clinton to Joe McCarthy. Joe McCarthy!
Ever since we won in Ohio and Texas we have been seeing these kinds of personal attacks from the Obama campaign. It's hard to believe that a campaign that talks so much about changing the tenor of our politics would employ these kinds of tactics, but its the kind of thing we are seeing every day from Senator Obama and his campaign.
Here is just a small sample of the words they have used to describe Hillary and her campaign: "disingenuous," "divisive," "untruthful," "dishonest," and much more.
Well I'm not going to stand for it, and neither should you. There's no better way to fight back than to show your support for our campaign in the face of these attacks.
Click here to make a contribution and help us fight the negative attacks.
I appreciate everything you're doing to help Hillary win, and I know she does too. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Terry McAuliffe
Chairman, Hillary Clinton for President

Standing alone Bill Clinton's recent comments about "patriotic candidates" are arguably ambiguous. But, when coupled with Hillary's comment that not having a re-vote in Michigan is "Un-American, the meaning is clear!! The Clinton's clearly feel they cannot win on the merits so they seek to belittle, besmirch and destroy Obama directly and indirectly
Shame on them!!
And, shame on us if they succeed.

Hey Christina,
This is the crazy girl named Geneva from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have had a few people tell me that they saw me on the news going " crazy" at the Obama rally here in Cincinnati. I also read the Senator's comment about it being "a cult" after you show him the video. I wonder what He meant by that. "Cults" are considered to be a negative thing where I come from. But anyway I am still excieted about Him and looking forward to him getting the nomination for President of the United States no matter what certain people say.

Bill and Hillary Clinton alway know exactly what they are saying. The just think the rest of us are stupid. The bruhaha about Obama not wearing a flag lapel pin is a veiled reference on his patriotism. But Hillary doesn't wesar onon her lapel either.

Terry McAuliffe seems to think that people will be enraged that Bill is being compared to McCarthy and Hillary is being portrayed as "disingenuous," "divisive,"
"untruthful," and "dishonest". This is trivial to being called Nazi's, murderers, torturer's, and betrayers, especially when you can't say anything back like our military. Where was Clinton's and Obama's outrage then? And these guys talk about being Commander in Chief? Maybe they can offer a sleepover in the Clinton Library? Get over it.
