Since I posted the Clinton response to Gordon Fischer's blog item a few minutes ago, Mr. Fischer is up with an apology on his blog.
A Sincere and Contrite Apology
By admin on 3/24/2008 10:12 AMI sincerely apologize for a tasteless and gratituous comment I made here about President Clinton. It was unnecessary and wrong.
I have since deleted the comment, and again apologize for making it. It will not happen again.
I hope my readers will accept my apology and we can move on to the very important issues facing our state and country. Thank you.
Team Clinton's Howard Wolfson, still on the conference call with reporters, responds to apology post when I asked him about it.
"A sincere apology is always a good thing, but in all candor I don't know why he would apologize since it seems quite in keeping with the tone and tenor of Obama's campaign," Wolfson said.
And Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor puts in his two cents: "As Senator Obama has said repeatedly, comments like this have no place in our political dialogue and he strongly rejects them."

Why does anybody ever apologize to any Clinton? Seriously. The impeachment should be fair game. It's the Clinton's fault that we even know about it. They could've settled the sexual harassment case instead of putting the nation through it. Can anybody think of any time the Clintons were cool about an apology? EVER?

Re: Cnn/360 discussion on the Bosnia missteps(Hilary's)vrs.Obama's Pastor Wright eulogy: It was disappointing to see Times Reporter JoeKlein stifling the anti-American,anti-Jewish,anti-White criticisms against Pastor Wright."Hate Talk" he said, should not be brought up. Talk show host,Imus, lost his job over one hate talk comment and was crucified by the media. Why is it the criticism of OBAMA'S Pastor, who oddly is a strong influence, off limits? Journalists are supposed to raise questions to clarify issues to their readers not try to squash them. Hilary's exaggeration of her arrival in Bosnia which had a legitimate buildup of danger and possible trouble was in no way as dangerous as condoning the spiritual leadership and personal mentorship of a hate-filled , anti-American Black Pastor Wright as the disingenuous Barack Obama has done. Attitudes regarding his White grandparents who raised him when his Black parent deserted him, suck! They were too white to bring them out in the open early in the race; they suddenly emerged when he could be accused of being too black! Even Cnn got sucked into going "back to the Africa of his roots". The black grandmother there had only met him once on a visit to his "homeland". How transparent!
