Details for the "Road to Change" tour are still TBA, but Sen. Barack Obama's campaign just announced he'll be in Pennsylvania from March 28 through April 2.
The Real Clear Politics average of polls shows him down in Pennsylvania by 16.6 points. But as Obama advisers have long said, he tends to improve his standing when he spends time on the ground with voters.
"Over the course of the tour, Obama will continue his dialogue with voters about the need to change Washington in order to tackle challenges like creating jobs, improving our schools and making health care available to every American. The "Road to Change" bus tour will kick-off in western Pennsylvania and conclude in southeastern Pennsylvania with numerous stops in between," the campaign announced.

Bill Clinton knows what he is doing.
He is a master of throwing stones then trying to hide his hand.
The Clintons and the Clintonites want it both ways.
You are supposed to appreciate how slick they are.
But you are not supposed to hold them to anything they say.
Then, lo and behold, they get all prissy about an unfortunate mention by an Obama supporter in Iowa of a stain on a blue dress.
The allusion wasn't uplifting, and therefore was unfortunate to be associated with the Obama campaign.
But even the mention doesn't compare with Bill Clinton's serial loutishness, and Hillary's enabling behaviors starting at least with Gennifer Flowers--all so she could share power.
The victims of Lewinsky et. al. were not the Clintons.
It may or may not have been Lewinsky et. al. (We were not there.)
And the victimizers were not just a band of hypocritical GOPers like Newt Gingrich and Bob Livingston.
The real victims were the American people.
Thanks for the memories, Bill, Hillary, Newt, Bob, and the rest of you who chose the paths you did and thus succeeded in making politics, not an honorable adventure as Robert F. Kennedy used to say, but a swamp tailor made for privateers.
(For those who mock Barack Obama's politics of hope, remember it was the tough but sensitive RFK who used to challenge us not to see things as they are, and ask why, but to dream of things that never were, and say, why not?)
Obama still offers that hope and those dreams.
Let's make politics an honorable adventure once again, Democrats.
But Bill and Hillary had their chance and blew it.
Let the torch pass to others, more ennobling and more worthy.

The Clintons are in denial that they stand a chance to win. They are completely in denial. Democratic leaders are going to have to have the guts to go to the Clintons soon and tell them that it is time for Hillary to get out of the race for the sake of the party.
It is over Hillary. Do the right thing and get out of the race.

It is really hilarious to me how vulnerable Republicans are to their own propaganda. They seem to be enthused about running against either Democratic candidate. They marvel so much at the caricatures they have created for public consumption that they fail to realize that there is no way they can win in the fall.
The Dems are beating them 4-1 in turnout alone. The supposedly weak nominess, as well as the loser, will both have gotten more votes than any Dem candidate in history. Both will have an even greater advantage in terms of campaign dollars.
Keep thinking people are going to care more about a man's minister than the economy and the war. Drink the kool-aid deep.

Actually, we DO need you here, as is evidenced by the 16.6% lead Billary enjoys in the Commonwealth. Obviously, there are a lot of delusional people here who think that Billary is actually a credible candidate, when it's more than obvious that she's nothing but a divider.
She claims she has all the experience? HA! Like when you were pushing NAFTA? Oh wait, that's right, now you are against NAFTA. How about when you were voting for the war? Oh, what's that, you're against the war now? How about when you were helping to forge peace in Bosnia? Wait, you had nothing to do with that either? Gosh, what a shocker.
Simply put, you're nothing more than a typical politician, the same kind that has run this country into the ground.
Billary, it's time to face the facts. Simply put, you can't win. You're behind in every category that matters: 1) popular vote, 2) primaries won, 3) caucuses won, 4) pledged delegates. Your pathetic attempts to go back on your word on primaries in Michigan and Florida failed. The longer you stay in the race the more you'll divide the party, but I guess I shouldn't surprised, that is your thing.

There still has not been a story to come out about HRC that has drawn the same attention that of the Rev Wright story. When it does...and you know the history of the Clinton's ...it will be deafing. Obama is having his 3AM call now because he is fighting John McCain, Hillary, and the press....and he is doing a great job!

OBAMA MUST NOT BE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY FOR WHAT EVER REASON AND HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED. HOW OBAMA HAS NO SHAME AND IS DISRESPECTING THIS NATION AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY TRYING TO DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM HIS RACIST & ANTI-AMERICA REV. AFTER 20 YRS. IF HE HAS ANY BRAIN HE WOULD HAVE WALK AWAY 20 YRS AGO. BY TRYING TO DISTANCE HIMSELF AND GIVE A BS SPEECH ABOUT RACE RELATIONS IN AMERICA AFTER HIS 20 YRS MINISTER IS NOTHING MORE THAN TRYING TO DRAW PUBLIC ATTENTION AWAY FOR HIS 20 YRS OF PROOF THAT OBAMA IS NOT FIT FOR PRESIDENT. I support his efforts to campaign in ALL FIFTY STATES. There are more that SEVEN stars on the flag. The best way to win the nomination is to WIN primaries and caucus...Hillary has underperformed. Obama has run a better campaign and out performed her. She can't overcome the delegate math no matter WHAT happens in PA.

By that speech, Obama has proved his leadership ability. No other Presidential candidate or President, for that matter, has had to dig down into his guts and present such an eloquent articulation of a profound and chronic social and cultural disease. I am reminded of Bobby Kennedy. Yes, Obama is a politician, and yes, he has made compromises in order to create a community base in Chicago in order to launch his political career, but he has now been tested far beyond the limits that have been foisted on "Billary" the "annointed".

When Senator Obama and the old man are seen together in the T.V. debates those of us who are old enough will remember Kennedy and Nixon.
Stay tuned. 6 more months of Hannity and Rush and Savage repeating those Reverend Wright clips and most people will be sick and tired of Hannity and Rush and Savage. Unless they can find clips of Obama kissing Farahkan (Hillary kissing Sura Arafat after Sura told an audience that the Jews were poisoning Palestinian children with candy laced with arsenic, or sound clips of Obama saying he hates America, white people and the Jews, the old man will be toast.
Posted by Dan Workman | March 24, 2008 9:00 PM
The biggest hurdle to date for Obama to overcome is that some people are still concerned about the words of his former pastor. While this is still an ongoing controversy, it will ultimately be established and realized that 1) Obama, as he has already clearly stated, disagrees strongly with the opinions expressed in the controversial Wright videos, and that there's no real reason to be concerned about the fact that a candidate is simply friends with someone who has different opinions than said candidate, and 2) that it's far more damaging to the Democrats to have a candidate like Hillary Clinton who has been a serial liar in this campaign, and a divisive figure in politics for decades. She lied about her involvement in the Northern Ireland peace negotiations, she lied about her involvement in opening the borders of Kosovo, she lied about her supposed vast efforts to fight sexist policies in China, she lied about the supposed harrowing landing and scurrying to cars in Bosnia to evade sniper fire, she lied about wanting revotes in Michigan and Florida simply because she didn't want their voters to be disenfranchised rather than it being because she thought it might help her catch up in the delegate count, her health care plan in the nineties failed miserably because of her divisive behavior that even alienated many Democrats, and the list goes on and on. Obama is a fantastic, rare candidate. I don't even agree with all of his policies, but he more than makes up for that by being someone who respects and considers opposing points of view while searching for the solutions that will best serve the majority of Americans. I'm a registered independant...Democrats, don't self-destruct this time like you have in the past. Supporting Hillary Clinton will cause your party damage that will last for longer than you know.
Posted by Sean | March 24, 2008 9:00 PM
Peter, you say that Obama going to Wright's church for 20 years shows poor judgement to the point that he's unfit to be President. Personally, I find it quite normal that Obama, like every other person on the planet, has friends who hold differing opinions on some subjects. I would actually find it more troubling if Obama only associated with people who had identical beliefs to his....how can you be aware of and address other's concerns, and how can you grow if you don't remain open to hearing differing viewpoints, even if you disagree with them?
And furthermore, I find Hillary's poor judgement call on the Iraq war to be far more egregious and disqualifying because it's cost the US, our allies, and Iraq tens and possibly hundreds of thousands of lives, and trillions of US taxpayer dollars. Obama going to a church that has, on occasion voiced viewpoints counter to his own, has cost no one their lives, and none of us a single red cent.
You should really get your priorities where Presidential qualifications are concerned in order.

I think the people in PA are a little tired of being called, uneducated, blue collar, underpaid hicks. That is was the Clinton campaign is calling them. I think this is insulting and arrogant about the people in my home state. for the love of Pete PA, don't vote for this lying woman. Do some research. She and her hubby are the reason many of you lost your jobs. Yes that's right - SHE SUPPORTED NAFTA. I think money in your pockets would be a little more important and a few badly spiced and diced viedos that in no way measure 30 years of a man's life. trust me I looked at the entire sermons. Er they cut off the part where he said he was quoting from Ambassador Edward Peck, a white former Ambassador to Iraq. Yes that "Chickens coming home to roost was his and a lot more". He made the speech the day after 911. He was on FOX saying that. Go and google Edward Peck and you will see.

I think the people who support the Clintons are disillusioned, dishonest hypocrites. I think just like all of us who support a candidate we kinda think they can do no wrong. I hear the same thing on the right. Remember just two months ago when Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin and the likes were distroying there now presumptive nominee?? Now they want their listeners to think that McCain is the best thing since slice bread, WOW!!!! Very few people have credibility with me. So people, before you start tearing each other down let the process take it's course. And for those of you Clinton supporters who think that the repubilcans will play nice, think again. She will be taken as a lam to the slaughter. The republicans are just waiting to dig up all the dirt on her and bill. Just wait my friends, the politics of slash and burn has yet to begun.

Hillarity's hallmark speech was blathered just before the New Hampshire primary where she teared up and essentially stated "Why don't you love me, since I am so special and experienced and I should be handed the Presidency on a silver platter?"
On the otherhand Barack gave a gut wrenching speech and courageous speech about his experience as a mulatto, transversing the white and black universe and giving Americans an "adult" insight into racial conflict in America in 2008. It is a speech that will be noted decades from now. I think he has demonstrated both character and sincerity.

I really fear for our country. For the first time in 48 years, I can find no one that I can support without fearing their election will adversely affect the freedom and security which has always been at the top of the list in this country. And to make it even worse, it seems the media doesn't care, nor do the majority of the people you see at the political rallies. When you listen to the speeches of Obama and Clinton it becomes plain that neither wants to keep our nation safe and free; they simply want the power and prestige that comes with the top office in the land. At least McCain has some loyalty to his country even though his politics closely resemble those of the Democrats.

As a citizen of Pennsylvania I would be embarrased if my state fell prey to the same fear-mongering, double-speak, pandering, and stereotyping that got Hilary her win in Ohio. We need to do better as voters, think beyond our base instincts and narrow self-interest, and unite behind this once-in-a-lifetime, transformational leader. He is not a magician; he has no magic wand, but rather an ability to get us to believe in ourselves again, and then take action to save our great democracy from the ruin that seems right around the corner.

Amen dear! Probably his first ride on a bus. Notice how the "unifying" supporters of Obama start name calling and start dissing people who haven't fallen in love with their lying hero? And PA Voter says a vote for Obama has the "ability to get us to believe in ourselves again".
I already believe in myself thank you very much, I don't believe in Barry Obama. He's a total con artist. I've thought that since day 1 (with his deep thoughts like "we are the ones we've been waiting for." HUH?) before the country was even introduced to his freaky pastor. Now we find he gave tens of thousands of dollars to that hater Irreverend Wright and lies about ever hearing it. His home purchased was assisted by an indicted Tony Rezko and he lied about that too, saying his only relationship with him was as an associate at a law firm where hid did a few hours of work for him.
The only honest things I've heard him say were "I don't think my church is particularly controversial." And about his grandmother who cared for his pathetic behind while he was smoking dope - all he could say was that she said things that made him "cringe" and the ultimate: she's a TYPICAL WHITE person who has a fearful, irrational reaction to strangers was bred into her. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....... bye bye Barack, you can take your hate and the New Black Panther shtuff back to Chicago! Nuff said....
"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person who, uh, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know there's a reaction that's been been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way and that's just the nature of race in our society."

A few days ago Hillary said this about her trip to Bosnia: "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."
The CBS video of the event tells us a different story. We see Hillary and Chelsea happily saunter off the plan where they were greeted by the Bosnian President and a little girl who gave the First Lady flowers and read a poem.
Hillary was later asked to clarify and she gave further embellishments.
Can our country afford to elect yet another President who's incapable of giving us the truth?

Who is going to take the WH?? Having been born and raised in the commonwealth of Pennsyltucky (Lancaster specifically) with a father from North Philadelphia and a mother from Lilly (between Altoona and Johnstown), I can say that based on my experience of Pennsylvania and the vast extremes which mold the fabric of her political consciousness, this primary will be far from decisive.
Given the overall lack of uniformity within the culture that makes up Pennsylvania, some parts of the state will inevitably go almost entirely to Clinton and some almost entirely to Obama. The same will just as well hold true in the general election between McCain and the democratic nominee, regardless of whom that may be.
That said, it is important for Pennsylvania voters to think of this upcoming primary in four weeks in terms of your end goals. Regardless of fervent stances for or against either of the democratic candidates, the question which must be confronted is one of what political direction you want this country to take.
When all the nitpicking, senseless embellishment and sophomoric tarring and feathering (which has been aimed equally at both democratic candidates) is over, this is the question that you're still going to have to answer for yourself and for America as a whole. When it comes time in November to vote for the direction that this country is to take for the next four years, you will be as responsible to account for the decision that you will make then as you are responsible for the persuasive thoughts and ideas which you now proclaim in your attempts to influence the minds of others.
Bear this in mind before making any rash decisions.

Obama is the candidate who is best equipped to lead this country into a new era. Hillary, once again, is caught up in a lie, fabricating sniper fire during her trip to Bosnia. This is simply a woman who is embellishing her foreign policy experience and her heroism. She's trying to make it look like she is brave and emboldened but it's all a LIE, she didn't misspeak, what a crock! I guess this is what Kwame Kilpatrick should say, "I misspoke." Now you may say it's not the same thing, but it's even more important than the fiasco in Detroit because this woman is running for President, so in order to make it seem like she is heroic she LIES to the American people. No surprise here, she is not fit to lead this country and she needs to step aside and help Obama defeat McCain in the fall. The sad part is most of the idiots in PA are delusional because they believe everything this woman says. The same thing that happened in Ohio will probably happen in PA because we have a bunch of racist and ignorant folks in PA, the Governor of PA (Ed Rendell)was the first to make these remarks regarding race. The media is trying to figure out why lower income , white men aren't voting for Obama, well it pretty obvious, RACISM!

My first question would be how can a half white/half black person be racist? these people have ties to both worlds. Some people don't think before they speak.
I think the Clintons are under-estimating Obama supporters in PA. The only reason why she won Ohio, is because the republicans voted for her, so they could remove Obama from the ticket. Well these people are going to have to pay a fine for jumping over to another ticket. Don't take my word for it, listen to the news, they can thank Rush Limbaugh for that expensive learning.
I predict that it is going to look like Hiliary is winning (like it does now) and then the numbers are going to change. Obama numbers are going to turn around and out of no where jump the track and run right through cry baby Hililary like a fright train. I love it, now cry baby Hililary really will have something to cry about. YEA!!! this is going to be a glorious day.

I watched Bill Maher last night and he made the most intelligent comment I've heard about John McCain. Bill said "John McCain is DUMB about WAR", and it is so true, this man is willing to sacrifice more BLOOD and more TREASURE for IRAQ, and he's willing to stay there for 100 YEARS if we need to. Now, how dumb is that statement? Think about it people, do you want this country to follow the same path that BUSH is put us on for the last 5 YEARS? It's pretty obvious that this strategy isn't good for the American people nor is it good for the rest of the world. Obama is the FIRST candidate to connect this WAR with our failing economy and I'm wondering WHY this hasn't been an issue in the first place?! It's pretty obvious $12 BILLION a month and that assessment is pretty modest because most experts put the cost of the war at $25 BILLION. Now, tell me who is gonna pay for the WAR? I'll tell ya, our children and grandchildren, does this make sense? What are we to gain from staying in IRAQ? Can anyone tell me? Because we are NOT SAFER as a country, so please to come with that bull****.

I love how we, as white people, feel that black reverse racism is somehow equal to white racism. We say to ourselves, "Well, I'm not a racist, so I'm shocked and apalled by a black preacher speaking out against rich white people who have controlled society and who blames white America for the black communities' plight."
We now claim that these people are the real racists and Obama's membership makes him unelectable?
The idea that we will denounce Obama as an unelectable racist is laughable.
How quickly we forget how far we have come in such a short time. Many have fought hard and died to get where we are today as a society. Maybe young white people like myself need to understand what we never witnessed with our own two eyes, that our fathers and grandfathers were the real racists although many of their sensibilities were ingrained by parents who grew up thinking of blacks as second class citizens and it was socially accepted. Our government and society was segragated for nearly 100 years after the emancipation proclamation during that time great moral injustices, murder, mayhem, inequality was a fact of life for black people.
Black racism is not the same as white racism, they are not advocating violence against white society, just highlighting the hypocricy of our democracy. No one with an education can argue that we have a clean slate on the world stage and are immune from criticism.
If you can learn to walk a mile in someone's shoes, at least philosophically, i don't see how you can not understand where Wright and his generation are coming from. I also think it is unfair condemn a recognized religious leader to condemn him over several 30 second soundbites that when heard in context of the full sermons are more true than they are inflammatory.
Don't let FoxNews decide the election, they will try, they won in 2004, we must understand that the Obama's platform will do the most good for this country and the world ........

"There will NEVER be another Democrat in the White House again. These 2 candidates are so inexperienced and so deceitful, I actually feel bad for the democratic party that this is your best people."
Don, are you serious? So tell me, do you think that John McCain is a good choice for President? Because this man is going to follow the same idiotic path Bush has taken and the VAST MAJORITY of the country are against this war, but I guess you have the same idiotic response that Dick Cheney gave which is "So"; right? The American peoples opinions don't matter; right? Hell, we might as well have Putin as President because this sounds like a dictatorship. I remember when Bush said that he looked into his eyes and saw his soul, I guess he couldn't distinguish Putin's dark HEART from his own, it looked too familiar. And I guess tax breaks for the RICH are what you believe in as well. This President is the furthest thing from a CONSERVATIVE, he's more of a spend, spend type of president, but I guess you think this is the correct course for the nation?

The only thing standing between Clinton and the nomination is a live Obama.
It would be a good idea for his bus tour to include a lead vehicle that would detonate roadside bombs along the route before his bus got there.

So, let me understand this. She drank tea with old Irish ladies. That was her great mission to end violence in Northern Ireland. Then she stands around with Sinbad and Cheryl Crow and Chelsie on a tarmac handing out cookies and kissing little girls. That was her efforts to deal with the refugee crisis in Bosnia. Oh yes. Lets not forget her big wet kiss on the cheeks to Mrs. Arafat after the latter proclaimed that Jewish people are poisoning Palestinian children with arsenic laced candies. That was her great Middle East mission to end the conflict there.
Bill, that phone ringing is for you!!!!! I'm going back to bed.

Obama is going to be the next President of the United States. GO OBAMA 08
"HOPE" "DREAMS" "CHANGE"!!!!!

Last time I checked, it isn't illegal to change party registration, much as the morons in Cleveland would like to make it so. I suppose they will be dragging in registered Dems so they can swear their loyalty to the party like they did in the Soviet Union. Yeesh... that sure is a "CHANGE" alright.
Obama will never win in November, if the superdelegates are dumb enough to go his way. The comments of Irreverend Wright and Obama's own 'typical white person' comments are brought to mind every time his name is brought up. PA now has 4 million registered Dems. Clinton could easily overtake Obama in popular votes when she crushes the fraud here. She is already ahead if the voters of 2 states were not cheated. So...kudos to Howard Dean for making this primary season a mess...can't even broker a compromise.

I find it incredable that the dems might actually loose the election this year. The only people to blame will be ourselves.
Blacks have a right to be pissed about the country that hauled them over here to work as slaves. Didnt allow them to vote when they wernt and offer them very little opportunites to achive now that they can vote (I'm white). So unless you are black please refrain from standing on your soap box and preaching patriotism.
Republican/Democrate, it really doesnt matter. The only thing that does is if you are inside or outside. I could careless if Obahma has experience. I could careless if Obahma has resentment of how his contry has treated segments of its citizens.
I want someone on the OUTSIDE!!!!!!!
Great leaders are great speakers.
Stop the hate and lets get this election for us for once and not for those just on the inside.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama offers a good deal of platitudes without any substance. His message is as hollow as he is. The fact that he could sit in a church for over 20 years, praising a minister who preaches vile racism and anti-Americanism makes him no better than the preacher. He calls that preacher his spiritual mentor and even refers to him as an uncle (i.e. family). People....WAKE UP!!! This makes Barrack HUSSEIN Obama a total outright hypocrite as he claims to represent the interests of all people, no matter what their color or background. This is absolutely not true. No honest person with this philosophy could attend Reverend Wright's church for over two decades and believe this. This man has no substance. He is a liar. He is a hypocrite. He is not fit to lead our nation!

Gilbi, the only roadside bombs he needs to worry about are the lies and deceit that will be lobbed at him from the Clintonites and the Clintons themselves. As long as Obama doesn't get the nomination MUST be their mantra. They are willing to tear down the Democratic party and hand the nomination to a Republican before they will allow Obama to win, very sad.

Americans need to be little selfish before deciding whom to vote....you need to think who will protect your job, home , health care....finally who is going to balance you check book end of the day.
Every politician carries their baggaage of plus and minus. Weigh their plus and minus for the better of yourself and the country. Media is so biased, they don't care they get paid well enough to keep them hiding the truth.
In my point of view..
Mc Cain is too old, he's going spend his retirement in the white hosue playing golf most of the time and boming other countries as he feels. He can not come up with new ideas....
Obama, i like him but he's not ready. He's inexperience. If he can become president then I feel, I can become president because I can speak well.
Hillary has got good and bad experience. Experience is wisdom she can use that for better ideas. It is much better that no experience at all.
In my selfish point of view Hillary is my president. She's going to balance my check book at the end of the day.

"Let's take a look at what she's going to put her party through for the sake of that 5 percent chance: The Democratic Party is probably going to have to endure another three months of daily sniping. For another three months, we'll have the Carvilles likening the Obamaites to Judas and former generals accusing Clintonites of McCarthyism. For three months, we'll have the daily round of resume padding and sulfurous conference calls. We'll have campaign aides blurting "blue dress" and only-because-he's-black references as they let slip their private contempt.
For three more months (maybe more!) the campaign will proceed along in its Verdun-like pattern. There will be a steady rifle fire of character assassination from the underlings, interrupted by the occasional firestorm of artillery when the contest touches upon race, gender or patriotism. The policy debates between the two have been long exhausted, so the only way to get the public really engaged is by poking some raw national wound.
For the sake of that 5 percent, this will be the sourest spring. About a fifth of Clinton and Obama supporters now say they wouldn't vote for the other candidate in the general election. Meanwhile, on the other side, voters get an unobstructed view of the Republican nominee. John McCain's approval ratings have soared 11 points. He is now viewed positively by 67 percent of Americans. A month ago, McCain was losing to Obama among independents by double digits in a general election matchup. Now McCain has a lead among this group."
This article hits the nail on the head!

Well I for one am glad Obama is coming to PA. I am so tired of Hillary's attacks and lies. To all of the folks that believe Obama is a racist...you do know he is half-white, took care of his white mother and loved his white grandparents more than life itself? You are aware of that right? Come on...are you that uneducated? Obama could not tell his black pastor not to feel the way he did...Obama is only half-black.
Please...Obama is the only candidate with intelligence and integrity. Hillary is untrustworthy and has felt entitled to the nomination for years.
Take it from someone who has researched each candidate endlessly...she does not have the character required to be a great president but Obama does.

America needs ANYONE as a leader EXCEPT Hillary. She is the loser, the liar, the deceptive self-indulgent person with very little experience. Gee...wasn't that great honesty and leadership exposed with her lies about Bosnia gunfire, and Ireland peace talks. At least it did give the Irish more reason to drink & laugh at her. She needs to get out of the way and allow someone with SOME integrity push forward in a positive way. She cannot do that....because she never has.

What part of the speech did you just IGNORE CLEM GRECO? Was it the entire speech, because reading this absurd DRIVVLE you decided to spew, it's obvious that you have something against Obama. If you actually LISTENED to the entire speech that Rev Wright gave and NOT just the CLIPS of the speech you may actually understand why those comments were made and how the entire speech fits together with the divisive CLIPS. All of the major news channels loop these CLIPS in an effort to paint this pastor in a bad light, and give fuel to idiots that spew this hatred. You DO understand that he is half white; CORRECT? You DO understand that he was raised by white people; CORRECT? So, how can you label him a racist? And why do you spew such LIES?! I'm so happy that the majority of voters have chosen Obama, that is why he is leading in the POPULAR VOTE, the DELEGATE VOTE, and MOMENTUM. And this is EXACTLY what turned Bill Richardson off about Clinton and her supporters!
OBAMA '08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Typical White Person - Please go back and ask those same (the very same) people what legislation has Hillary or McCain passed. Most likely unless you are from their state, you are not going to know what legislation anybody has passed, sponsored, or co/sponsored. Can you 1)name your senator and congressman from your district and 2) what legislation have the passed, sponsored, and co-sponsored. They are legislators. That's all they do everyday. We as Americans probably should know more, but sadly we don't. I do know that Barack sponsored a bill that our veterans (I'm a Desert Storm Veteran) when they get back don't have to pay for calls to talk to their families. What has Hillary sponsored? Hmmmm

Is Obama a racist? No.
Does Obama hate his country? No.
Can we not talk about his minister anymore, and talk about the issues that really matter?
Thanks People.

As a "typical" white person, I find Barack HUSSEIN Obama's comments to be offensive. I don't care if he is half white, he identifies as black. His attendance at Reverand Wright's church only reinforces my position as he listened passively for over 20 years to hate-filled, anti-white, rascist, anti-American venom. He can back peddle now in order to pander to the white vote, but his actions speak much, much louder than words. People: This is not the type of change that America needs right now. Wake Up!!
Posted by Tim | March 25, 2008 2:57 PM
As a black woman, I think Obama is right. I am encouraged by the smart and thoughtful white people out there who can see through the smokescreen. Good or bad, Obama is giving all Americans credit enough to see the truth and make their own judgements. My husband is white, grew up in Republican household, who voted for Obama before I did. But because I am black, people will assume that is why I am voting for Obama. No, I can think too, just like my white husband. And our son, loves BOTH of his parents.
Tired of the Clintons. She NEVER had our votes. She is divisive! Rush and the right are afraid of Obama. Obama did win Texas. He will get more delegates than Hillary here. If she won the popular vote, there is no reason, she should not have won the caucus too. She does not excite people. Don't underestimate WORDS. Inspiration leads to perspiration! I volunteered for the first time in a campaign because of inspiring words.
Posted by Gloria | March 25, 2008 3:20 PM
How about the fact that on Tusday Obamam never heard his pastor speeches of hate and then all of a sudne he admits to it.
He lied and lied and lied again and then he turns the table to make it look like he is a great uniter.
Fact is democrats are ruining their own party, so yes I am serious when i say there will NEVER be another democrat in the White House again.
Hilary is pure evil and BO is so inexpereinced and I just do not trust him.
McCain would not have been my first choice, and I could care less about taxes and money. My priorities are anti-abortion, family values and security. No democrat that has run for office since I was old enought to vote has ever been right about these three things.
Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2008 3:38 PM
How un-American can you be...to let a sermon by a United Church of Christ pastor get in the way of voting to elect a guy (Obama)who will make America a better place to raise a family. Is your anger getting in the way of making the USA a more perfect union. "AMERICA FIRST"...clergy sermons a distant 23rd.

I have yet to find one sound clip of Obama defaming the United States, white people, Jews, Israel etc. the guy was a constitutional Law Professor before running for State Senate. He taught constitional law. It would be refreshing, to say the least, to have a President who knows the United States Constitution backwards and forwards and the judicial decisions that have shaped it, instead of the bonehead we have had in the oval office for the last 7 years.
