Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton will appear tonight with her mom at a D.C. fundraiser, and she sent supporters an e-mail today touting the campaign's contest to win tickets for the Elton John concert.
When I heard that Elton John was throwing a concert in New York for my mom's campaign, I knew it was going to be a night I didn't want to miss.Want to join me there?
My mom's campaign is bringing two supporters and their guests to New York on April 9 for both Elton John's one-night-only concert and the party after the concert. It's going to be a great night and a great time.
It's such an important time to support my mom's campaign. There are big contests coming up, starting with Pennsylvania, and I know she can win with your support. She's working so hard out on the campaign trail, and I know that your support makes a real difference to her and this campaign.
I talk to a lot of people who are excited to see my mom win and be the president we all need -- and who are working hard to help make that happen. It means so much to me to know that there are so many people like you who believe in my mom and are working to help her win. I know that she'll be such a great president and she will win, but not without all our help. And what better time to help than right now?
Please contribute today. Enter and you might be joining me, my mom, and Elton John for a concert in New York!
I'm so grateful for everything you're doing to help my mom win!
Thank you!
Chelsea
Chelsea also made some headlines yesterday after she bristled when a voter asked her about Monica Lewinsky.
It's a big difference from back on the Nevada campaign trail, where I captured a shy Chelsea giving some of her first public remarks.

Is this legal for Elton John , a UK national, to be fund raising for a US politician?

We surely can find another qualified American to be president without building the Clinton power dynasty.
And now I think less of Elton John...

In all honesty, this letter by Chelsea is pathetic and sad. "My Mom", my mom, my mom...is sweet, but not worthy of a woman 27 years old. It sounds like a 4th grader submitting her "mom" for an award of a scholarship to camp: "Gee, guys, remember 'my mom' baked us cookies! (Oops, wrong example.) Well, she would appreciate your vote...." Support is one thing; playing a the little kid is another.

Elizabeth and Mike are right. Chelsea has always been "imbicilized" to use a term Whelech Welenza (sp) the Polish labor leader (father of Polish Freedom from Soviet Rule) used to describe what Soviet socialist government control had done to the people of Poland. This is exactly what Chelsea wants for all of us, under her mom's autocratic rule, to share in her imbicilism.

Hillary and Chelsea are great. The clintons were loved for so many years when Bill was in office, and it is so suprising to see so many people are attacking her now. Sad sad stuff. She will be a great president.

You Clinton haters make me sick! you would rather have someone who for over 20 years listened to white race hater ( Obama's preacher ) say g-damn America. Where are all the patriots!

Obama fanatics are so disrespectful...Obama should distance himself and reject THEM! Patriotism will be big in the general election regardless of what the highschoolers think and his lack of it will supprot the Republicans.

I am a Canadian, a Boomer born in 1951 and a woman. Although I can not vote for her, I support Hillary Clinton in her run for the Presidency of the United States. The best indication of what someone will do in the future is what she has accomplished in the past. Senator Clinton has a record of important accomplishment. She is a creative yet practical problem solver who has the gifts, skills and experience that are needed in an American and World leader at this critical time in our history. Rock on, Hillary and Sir Elton John.

I support Hillary NOW and in NOVEMBER. Don't let your vote go to the highest bidder or be swayed by a biased and vindictive media.
Go HILLARY, Go Elton.

There is going to be a rally in NY on Friday at 8:00 to protest the horrible and biased treatment by the media. If you can make it go. I feel sick to my stomach when I watch the news. So if you want more info go to www.hillaryclintonforum.net
