HOUSTON — Sen. Hillary Clinton is up with a new ad today that portrays the former first lady as more experienced and ready to handle that tough 3 a.m. phone call.
Here's the script for "Children:"
It's 3am and your children are safe and asleep
But there's a phone in the White House and it's ringing
Something's happening in the world
Your vote will decide who answers that call.
Whether it's someone who already knows the world's leaders, knows the military — someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world
It's 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep
Who do you want answering the phone?
The campaign billed the commercial as a "national security ad" that "asks voters who they want in the White House during a crisis."
Along with its release the campaign included a statement from supporter Gen. Wesley Clark.
"Inevitably, another national security crisis will occur. And when it does, voters shouldn't have to wonder whether their President will be ready. As president, Hillary will be ready to act swiftly and decisively," he said.

Methinks she's getting desperate

This is a great ad! Hillary is the only person that I would want answering that phone. I certainly would not want Barack "Hussein" Obama answering it. He has absolutely no experience dealing with world leaders or affairs! Go Hillary!!!

which Hillary will answer the phone? Do you want a multi-persona President? I would support her if there is no Bill and she is consistent in her character and personality. One day she was gentle and caring, the other day she was whining, next was fighter, next ugly angry face ... who is she?
Vote for the better candidate, American! for country and next generations sake. We don't want Clintons rope our hard earn $$ to pay their debts to wealthy foreigners, corporate CEO's and countries like China, Saudi, India (that get most of American's jobs).

More politics of fear from the Clinton campaign...very telling.

What is the deal? Just because she was MARRIED to the president at one point does not make her an expert by any means!!

So, she has finally sunk to the Bush level of absolute (9-11) fear mongering? This is beneath contempt, and is obviously a desperate attempt to appeal to the worst in us.
If she cannot appeal to the best of us, and the best within us...she will not be the nominee, and rightly so.

Do you think Obama would have that tasteful taupe suit on, AND accessorized properly with a gold chain at 3 a.m............I don't think so.

Which Hillary would answer?
"Shame on you" or "This is hard"?
She's not stable...Barack is a rock, professional, reliable.
I prefer someone without mood swings, thank you!

That's right. Hillary is the only person I want to answer that phone. Obama will not have a clue how to answer that phone.

You have to be kidding right? 1st repug buzz word "fear-monger", 2nd repug buzz word "9/11", 3rd repug buzz word "devisive issue". Hitler's ad says it all, she is a dino. You don't need a trigger happy NRA supporter answering phone calls. In reality, she'd be fast asleep, and some cronie would answer that phone. You have to be kidding right? 1st repug buzz word "fear-monger", 2nd repug buzz word "9/11", 3rd repug buzz word "divisive issue". I like a few of Hitler's ideas, but this wo-"man" is not about 1st demo buzz word "change", s/he, and her phuck buddy, Bill are career politicians who don't give a flying monkey's ash about your sleeping children. S/he, like Georgie will throw your babies into a fire pit without hesitation.

Trust an anonymous coward to bring up the whole Husssein nonsense. Notice how bigots hide behind anonymity on the Internet. Read the Constitution of the United States of America: in Article VI, last paragraph, it clearly states: "All executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a clarification to any office or public trust under the United States." Having a Muslim father does not disqualify the Senator from Illinois.
By your logic, Paula "Abdul" is suspicious, and so is Casey "Kasem", merely for having Arabic names, even though none of the three are Muslims. And even if Mr. Obama was a Muslim, it does not disqualify him from the Presidency. Coward.

"If one candidate's trying to scare you and the other one's trying to get you to think, if one candidate's appealing to your fears and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope." Bill Clinton in 2004
Hillary= Bitter, devisive, moody, inconsitent, secretive, increasingly pathetic, and far too connected with all the things that are wrong in this country.
PS, thank you America for your Obama support!

What a joke! The whole "experience" premise is completely backwards. If you actually look at what bills the two Senators have written, it's pretty obvious that it's OBAMA that is more experienced, has leadership abilities and thinks big. Here's a link where someone actually performed the research and appears to have come to the same conclusion. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/20/201332/807/36/458633

If Hillary is President and the phone rings at 3 AM, it will probably be Bill calling to say he's coming home late.

Obama is not even "dry behind the ears", wouldn't know what to do if the phone rings at 3:00 a. m. Of course, their agenda is so much alike, he listens to every thing she says, and then copies her almost, completely. Heaven help us if Oprah and Ted Kennedy are running the country.
