« Clinton wins Michigan | Main | Edwards: It's no 2-person race »

Post-debate buzz

While most of the country fixated on the results in Michigan, the three top Democratic candidates met on a stage here in Vegas. Here's my story, which details Sen. Hillary Clinton comparing Sen. Barack Obama to President Bush.

The camps sent out, as expected, e-mail blasts declaring victory, though Team Edwards wins extra points for cliche use with "Reviews are in: Edwards hits the jackpot."

Team Clinton likes this clip below as their "video moment."

At a few casinos in downtown Vegas last night, dealers weren't talking much about the debate. But several said they had recorded it and planned to watch later when their shift ends. There seems to be a lot of interest in the Democratic caucus, but most of the casino workers and cab drivers I have talked with so far told me they don't plan on participating Saturday.

I also have a piece up today looking at Clinton's language on immigration, and how she has changed her tune somewhat as the campaign shifted from Iowa westward.

I think you saw a different version of the debate. No time did Hillary liken Obama to Bush. You are a small bias writer (if thats what we call it now) mischaracterized again, the truth. Today Obama jumped on the Reagan band wagon and discounted President Clinton. Write about that, at least it's true. You right wing papers manufacture your own slanted version of the truth. If you cannot be accurate, find another line of work.
